From the initial greeting to the exit to the parking lot, my experience at The Raven was very good. I didn’t get one of the less expensive tee times so I was hoping that the course would make it worthwhile. It definitely did. The staff, each of them, were helpful friendly and courteous. The course was in excellent condition. The greens were receptive and smooth with a stimp of about 9. The only area of improvement would be just a couple of the tee boxes. These two or three had mostly sand on them versus Bermuda. The rest were good and level. The course layout, bunker placement, size of greens, their undulation, width of fairways, all was really good. Great design, giving options to all levels of play.
The experience was worth the more expensive fee, and I’d go again for sure next vacation here.
