Nice local course in great conditions. Played last Friday in the heat that was lessen by gentle breeze making the round much more enjoyable.

We played this fabulous course after playing the over priced courses at Innisbrook. What a different in course conditions. Pine Barrens's fairways are pristine and greens while the two over priced courses we played at Innisbrook were brown and spotty. Innisbrook should be ashamed of charging $200 to play their two top courses while we paid $40 for the afternoon rate at Pine Barrens.

Pine Barrens's layout is fantastic. Greens, however, are on the slow side and many bunkers were not raked. But the beauty of the layouts and fairway conditions made up for this small inferiority.

If you plan to play in Tampa area, skip Innisbrook and drive an hour North to play Pine Barrens. You will save hundreds of dollars and enjoy your golf experiences instead of wondering what happens to Innisbrook?

Of all the accolarions I was told about greatness of this courses, I was mostly disappointed by the conditions of most or all of their fairways. They are spotty brown and super dried. Not many players fixed their divots. Greens are fine. It was a hot and humid day when we played yesterday but was also surprised that they dotnt have ice machines on the courses. Unless you stocked your knee in the first hole, you are in tough luck. Good things that they have a die hard beverage cart gal on the course. This course is not worth the $175 rate.

I'm from CA vacationing in Myrtle Beach and decided to check the course out any way. We called the course this morning for the available tee time and spoke to Samantha who kindly booked 10:00A time for us at he senior rate. I played this course years ago and didn't remember much about the course and its conditions. Let me tell you, we played four rounds this week before playing TPC Myrtle Beach today and the course is in excellent shape. Some soft spots on fairways but overall thnit's course is in excellent conditions. My game, however, are not as sharp and sprayed the balls all over the places.

Come play this course, you wont b disappointed otherwise you can contact me and yell at me for misleading you.

The posts left on the local golf community do not serve justice to the course. This course is a challenging golf course and tougher than it's USGA ratings. Bring your A game.

This course has changed significantly since I last played. I was baited by several River's Edge members who proclaimed that the course is in fantastic conditions. The course was super super wet yesterday when I played with many casual waters on the thin and patchy fairways. Greens were slow around 6-7 but rolling ok.

Some bunkers are still flooded from previous days rain.

This great layout course designed by Arnold Palmer needs some TLC. The staff is friendly and fantastic.

We played on Mother's Day that probably the reason why hardly anybody there even though they were running 50% off the rack rate. Booked our tee time through teeoff.com.

What a great track in beautiful conditions for the public course. You need to play a few rounds there to familiar with the layout. Wicked Hard and fast greens, we love it!! The starter Jimmie and Dennis are great and so as their head pro, Lucas. Would love to go back and play this course again if I'm in the area.

Do not waste your money playing this course. All their greens are damaged beyond repairs. They are slow, bumpy and on some holes downright disgusting with bad patch worked or sanded over to over the damaged area.

We played in the tournament and if we know ahead of time, we would switch to play the other course at Tiburon instead. We were never told of the greens conditions until we got there.

Albeit friendliness of the staff and apologies of the horrific conditions, the course should charge us a lot less than what we ended up paying for.

Also, for the top notch resort associated with Greg Norman (Tiburon means shark in Spanish) and Ritz Carlton, they should do everything they can to satisfied their customers. We are beyond disappointment with the Black course conditions.

Complimentary towel is a nice touch. No other courses in Palm Springs area gives you a better value and services!!!
