The course is flat and playable. It was in good shape except the greens were too slow. The staff in the golf shop and around the cart sheds were not helpful when we arrived...no information given about the course or facilities and signage is not great. Additionally, there is no starter so people start whenever they want. I am sure the course backs up but fortunately that was not an issue for us. I would not take visitors here except to see some of the homes on the back nine!

The course was in excellent condition. When we booked it was noted that we may play the O'Odham course which is what happened. Unfortunately, that course is a bit longer from the Jade tees making it less enjoyable. The next tees up are just too short. The staff were friendly and efficient but the lack of a starter is the reason for 4 stars. We played in 4 hours as it was not fully booked but one of our foursome said that was very unusual. The ranger also told us that they do not push pace of play. Cold drinking water available on many holes which was great.

From the first person to the last everyone was smiling and helpful. The tee boxes and fairways were in very good condition but the greens were a little inconsistent.

Despite a shot gun start the pace of play was good. Sand in bunkers needed some work. Greens challenging (in a good way) as break was sometimes hard to see. Overall a beautiful day in a beautiful setting.

Course was in good shape except for a couple of tee boxes. No crazy holes but some very tough pin placements!

The young men at the bag drop did not seem interested in their duties but all other staff (proshop, starters, rangers, waitress) were excellent. The course itself was in good shape but the greens were somewhat inconsistent. The downfall to our day, though no fault of the course, was the couple we were paired with. They were so slow we were behind by the end of the first hole. The ranger, politely, spoke with us twice. Their inability (?) to play ready golf caused us to just "wack" the ball, rake their traps, etc to try to speed things up. In all our years we have never met people so "unaware" and it pretty much ruined our day.

I would term this a "resort course" as it is very user friendly. Course is in good condition, pace of play slightly slow. I can not give enough credit to the outstanding staff - their friendliness, consideration and cooperation with each other! I watched Fred from the deck after the round just keep going and going....he made me tired. :-)

Staff is friendly, course is in very nice condition. Not as tough as lead to believe by other reviews if you play from the proper tee box but definitely has some challenges. GPS on carts would be good due to some blind shots but course layout card helpful.
