As always, the course was in great condition and the pace of play was excellent (3:22). The only complaint is the range did not open until 7AM which made it impossible to warm up in any meaningful way for a 7:12AM tee time.

The pace of play was unacceptable (I quit after 9 holes and 3 hours. When I inquired with the staff about the pace of play I was told that I should expect that on an afternoon weekend. I was offered a rain check but declined as I cannot see myself going back anytime soon. This is a shame because I like the course but 6 hour rounds are not worth it.
Orchard Valley Golf Course

I love the layout, the condition and the value for money of this facility but I will never play there again. My 5:56AM tee time was a waste of time as a shotgun outing was put on holes 11 through 18 at 8AM and all of the early tee times had to wait for them to play. There were 2 foursomes inserted on every hole. The course clearly has no understanding of the reason behind early tee times.

Our staff does its best to encourage everyone to be mindful and respectful of their pace even if they are part of an outing or tournament. Cantigny Golf - Lakeside/Hillside

While it was a 4:20 round, it felt slower and we waited on every tee, it could easily have been a 3:30 round if everyone kept up with the group in front of them and played ready golf.

It was not clear when booking the tee time that all of the greens had just been aerated and it took away from the experience.
