5 1/2 hour round due mostly to the wind. The layout and course conditions were excellent. Not sure what other golfers were seeing regarding the conditions, but the course was in great shape.Much of it was along the water and the windy conditions were difficult but it's part of the game.

My only complaint would be the overzealous ranger who warned us several times to speed up play when it was not us causing the hold up. Ruined an otherwise very enjoyable day. The Director of Golf was informed and very apologetic and did compensate us, which was not our intention but appreciated.

This could have been an exceptional golf experience had it not been for the speed of the greens. They were so fast it was not uncommon to see 4 putts and balls roll completely off them. Otherwise the course was in great shape and was a nice layout. Honestly, we were so exasperated we did not even want to finish the round. Glad we only paid the NCGA rate and not the regular price.

Challenging layout even from the senior tees which I played due to the party I was hiokek up with as a single player.
Greens, fairways, bunkers , tees and rough all in excellent codition. Greens could've been a bit faster but were consistent and held approaches well.

Cons- needed more variety of distance on Par 3's. All were all about the same length. I am stll not a fan of seeing many close houses on a golf course and this was the biggest detraction even though I knew this going in. I would still play it again.

Everything about the Anderson Course is average - conditions, difficulty level, value, etc. Its only my first choice when convenience matters. There is nothing remarkable about the layout. The best thing about the course is the 19th hole. Great food and a nice patio outside.

I find the conditions at the Gilead courses slightly better than Anderson course. I also like the layout much better and find it more challenging. It is a fair value. Small bar/snack shop on site but need to go to main course for full restaurant and better bar / patio.

Everything about this course is outstanding excpet the price (but you do get what you pay for). Tremendous layout, very challenging and always excellent conditions. Bar / restaurant patio is worth the trip alone.
