I first played this course in 1996 and returned in December 2016 as part of a Southern California golf association Member Outing

I first played this course in 2001ish after it first opened. Over the years it’s maintenance was up and down. On May 1st, 2020 it was one of the first courses to reopen after the CD 19 viruse. The course is well laid out and offers great views. My regular golf buddies were happy to play the course and we found the maintenance crew trying very hard to get the course back in playing condition. We respected that effort. Staff were very helpful and professional. We will be back.

Today, November 13, 2019 I played my 1,000th round of golf. My 1st round was on October 29, 1993 at the Mountain View Golf Course (now closed). This picture is with my golf buddies who I played many round with (but not all 1,000)

My girlfriend Maria had a wonderful time
SCGA staff are terrific i also played the Bay course
What was special, it occurred to me that the first time I played both courses was during the summer of 1996 (yes 20 years before)
I believe the SCGA is going back in December 2020
I intend to take Maria back and encourage my 2 golf buddies to join us with their wives
I look forward to seeing restoration effort made since my last visit

The course was in great condition. We will be back.
