Avery Ranch Golf Club
Played On 05/30/2023Good Course - Greens a bit bumpy
Overall, great course, great layout, friendly staff, pace of play was a bit slow. Greens were a bit rough in spots, no brown patches but was not smooth. I shouldn't complain, I play in hot, dry Texas summers every year when courses struggle to keep greens green.
Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis

It reminds me of the muni courses I play back in Austin, conditions aren’t perfect on every hole, but I think it’s the best value in Destin. Hope construction of new condos and concert venue don’t tear it up too much!
Lago Vista Golf Course
Played On 02/12/2022Course is in HORRIBLE condition
There are no greens here - I would classify them as flat areas, the fairways are in better shape. This course should shut down for a couple months to rehab their greens, they're using sand to fill in massive divots on what's left of the greens, which they should be called browns. The clubhouse is nice and lady behind counter and cook are nice, guy checking people in was nice. They really shouldn't charge anything for playing this course though, it's in pretty rough shape.
Lighthouse Country Club

Enjoyed our round at Lighthouse, like how the course is laid out and conditions were good for this time of year - will def be back.

Lake Travis Country Club
Played On 04/26/2020Course is rough, but worth the money
Very scenic course, don’t expect any amenities, they just reopened after being closed for a couple years. They’re doing their best to keep it in decent shape. Low price makes it worthwhile.

I'm not a good golfer but i enjoyed this course. Great value for the money - can't beat $11!

Lions Municipal Golf Course

Great round with good friends. I hope they don't tear down this gem, the groundskeepers do their best to keep this old course in good shape.
Point Venture Golf Club
Played On 8/31/2013Great course for beginners or those taking up the game again
I've been playing Point Venture for years and always have a good time out there. Never very crowded, some challenging holes but not hard by any stretch. Staff is friendly and course is kept in decent shape. Note - this is only a 9 hole course, I play the white tees then from blues on the back nine.
