Lassing Pointe Golf Course
Played On 06/05/2021Gone Downhill
After a 2 1/2 hour front nine our group ended up quitting after 13. Waited on every shot because even though every drive bounced and rolled like normal we weren’t allowed off the cart path. This after not having any rain the day before. Every par 3 tee box is crowned so you either stand on top the mound with the ball below your feet or stand down the mound with the ball above your feet. Significantly. Bunkers were mostly dirt and unplayable. For $53 it is quite a ripoff.
Vineyard Golf Course
Played On 05/05/2021Disappointed
Most of the rough doesn’t seem to have been cut for a week or more. Rough was between 4-6 inches long in most areas and on one hole my drive was less than 10 feet off the fairway and I was in 12” of rough. Considering this is the premier Hamilton County course it’s not managed very well. This is at least the 3rd or 4th time something like this has happened to me.
The Golf Club at Hilton Head Lakes
Played On 10/28/2020Great shape for courses in this area. Challenging layout but wide fairways make it a second shot course. Will definitely play it again on next trip down.

Course was starting to burn out due to stretch of hot weather. Crabgrass in most fairways. Two greens had only about 300 square feet of grass on them so you basically had to pick up. Maintenance guy watering #10 sat in his cart just off the fringe and was a distraction with his radio blaring. Don't anticipate going back again this year.
California Golf Course
Played On 06/09/2018Slow Play
Golfers going off 1 and 10. We made the turn and had a 15 minute wait due to backup. Back nine took 2 1/2 hours with no rangers in sight. Half of water dispensers were empty or warm. As with all Cincinnati Rec courses, concessions are overpriced.
Harbor Links at Sagamore Resort
Played On 06/27/2017Worth the drive
Bit of a drive so only go once or twice a year. Course layout is challenging but fair. Greens are very severe and can run very fast at times. Only complaint is that the flag position on the green is identified with the little flag on the flag pole. You've all seen this. The little flag is in the wrong place and you think you're hitting to a front pin and it turns out to be back. How tough can it be to use red, white and blue like most courses or hand out a pin position sheet.
Thanks for the 5 stars!
