Greens are fast, but ball sticks on approach. Fairways are lush, ball sits up. Plenty of water hazards to get you in trouble. Staff makes you feel welcome.

Fairways and Greens in great shape. Greens were super fast and hard to read. Stay out of the rough unless you enjoy hitting off rocks and gravel.

Fairways were in great shape. the second cut was like a tight fairway. played the round in 3.5 hours ans we were behind a foursome. Greens has been aerated but ball stilled rolled really good. greens look and felt mature. Great course.

Very mature course. Fairways lined with trees. the rough is about 2 inch grass. Fairways were lush/perfect ball sits up high. Greens grass was a little thin but in good shape. Ball rolled good. Look out for water hazards. very cool layout. the sand hazards are unique. This is not a desert course.

The course was in great shape concrete creek running through out the fairways make the Augusta 9 holes very tough to manage. The Charleston has a few challenging holes specially the Pa5 that has an elevated green that guarded by tall bushes and a creek.

Two greens were still recovering but even with rough spots the ball rolled well. Rest of the greens were in perfect shape. No. 10 Fairway has big bare spot 40 yards in front of green, another fairway on the back nine had bare spots, but other than that the fairway's were lush and in great shape. This course punishes you if you don't hit the fairways, there is not much room for error off the tee. Bring a few extra balls. lots of trees and nature grass. Scenic course, got some nice photos of deer come really close. Love the challenging layout. The front nine has no houses visible. The back nine has a few house visible but they are far enough away that you don't have to worry about breaking a window. The staff really makes you feel welcome, they are very accommodating. This has become my favorite course. I golf at various courses about 3 times a week and have been playing golf regularly since 1998.

Greens were in good shape. Lots of bare spots in fairway. Too much non-golfer foot traffic on the course also kids playing in the water hazards. Even had one guy fishing in front of the tee box.

The greens are in perfect condition. The fairways were in good shape and allows divot taking
