White/Blue at Dandridge Golf & Country Club
Played On 10/20/2021Pretty course.
A very nice, well groomed course. Greens, tee boxes and fairways all in good condition. Cart paths appear to have been recently repaved, and look great. The scenery is beautiful, and we had perfect weather for our round. We'd be here more often if we didn't live an hour away, but we do come out a few times each year. Always a nice experience.

This course is pleasant to play. Some of the greens are challenging indeed, but that just enhances the experience. We had a pretty good time here today.
Baneberry Golf & Resort
Played On 08/26/2019Lots of potential, but needs work
Our first time here, and although we were not too disappointed (we've played some really bad courses before), we thought this course could be improved significantly with just some TLC from the maintenance crew. Particularly the greens. They are by far the worst greens we have ever seen anywhere, but could be saved with a bit of work. The tee boxes and fairways look pretty good, and the architectural layout of the course is fabulous. Great scenery, with well-placed mature trees and bunkers, but the big problem is the greens. Running-water restrooms on the course, but they badly need cleaning and updates. Could be a fantastic course with just a bit of work. We still enjoyed the day, however.
Millstone Golf Club
Played On 01/08/2019Course is OK for January.
Not bad course conditions for January, I suppose. But since they didn't have many golfers, they also didn't do much to care for the course. We also could not buy beer at the turn, allegedly due to the attendant not being licensed to sell alcohol, even though the establishment has a license. Tee boxes were OK, and the greens were in better-than-fair condition. But, what can one ask for, golfing in January?
Patriot Hills Golf Club
Played On 10/23/2018Fast Greens
This course is located within a subdivision, with large homes all around. The Bermuda grass fairways are cut a bit too long, and if you go off the fairway you can lose your ball easily. The greens are incredibly fast, making putting very, very difficult. However, the scenery is quite beautiful, and the course (other than putting) is not too difficult, yet challenging enough to be interesting. I'd recommend it, but don't plan on a low score unless you are a very good putter.
Richmond Forest Golf Club
Played On 12/1/2012A pleasant surprise
My wife and I went to Richmond Forest on December 1st, but even at this time of the year the course looked very good. The tee boxes are beautifully maintained. Greens weren't bad for this time of the year, either. We never heard of this course before seeing it listed on GolfNow.com. The course is surprisingly nice, and we'd love to see it in the summertime, so we'll be back then. There is lots of water on the front nine, lots of trees in the back. Challenging enough to be interesting, but not so much as to be discouraging. All-in-all, a pleasant experience. We'll definitely be back again in the spring or summer!
