Royal Niagara Golf Club - Escarpment Course
Played On 05/30/2023Slow Pace of Play
The pace of play was severely compromised by walkers on the course. The distance between some of the holes is very long, one hole in particular on the Escarpment course, is probably a 1/2 kilometer. On that hole, we had 2 groups in carts behind the walkers just inching along until they reached the next tee box. As a result, the round was a very disappointing 5 hours long. This is a nice course but I would not recommend it until they address the pace of play issue.
Slow Greens and Pace of Play
Nice, older course with lots of mature Florida vegetation. Greens were in good condition but needed a haircut badly. They were very slow. Matched the pace of play which was also very slow. No course marshalls to monitor and manage slow play. The course is undergoing some major renovations but they are mostly still a work in progress.
Lost Lake Golf Club
Played On 01/19/2021Greens need intensive care.
This course has perennially been one of the nicest courses in the area. Unfortunately, when we played today the greens were in terrible condition. It appears that they have been infected with some kind of fast-moving blight type of disease. One of the golfers we played with had played the course the week before and he said that there were only a few patches on some holes. Today there were large swaths of diseased greens on most of the holes. I would normally highly recommend this course to friends but at present, I would be reluctant to do so due to the disappointing condition of the greens.
Fairwinds Golf Course
Played On 01/14/2019Poor Pace of Play
Starter allowed other groups to be inserted in between pre-booked tee times. This slowed the pace of play by putting out 3 groups of 4 in a 7 minute time slot. In addition, Marshalls did not monitor or enforce pace of play out on the course. Another frustrating and slow round of golf at Fairwinds!!!

Harbour View Golf and Country Club
Played On 09/20/2015Poor Scheduling
Played twice in one week. First round (weekday) slow ... no Marshall's anywhere to be found. Made the turn and new groups on the 10th going off in front of us to make it more slow. Second time (weekend) our round was close to 6 hours - over a half hour late teeing off - no Marshall's to be found again. Very slow pace of play and no monitoring - or are you booking too tightly??

Second time playing this year - and again the pace of play was extremely frustrating and excruciatingly slow.
Jensen Beach Golf Club
Played On 03/11/2014Ridiculously slow pace of play
We had to wait 30 minutes for carts to come in before we could play. Despite that gap, we were backed up by the 2nd hole. Pace of play was extremely slow. We were over 5 hours and skipped 4 holes!
Club Med Sandpiper Bay
Played On 03/05/2014Slow Pace of Play
Course allows groups of 5 to play which significantly slows down the pace of play.
We appreciate your candid feedback. We will continue to make a concerted effort to keep a reasonable pace of play especially on weekends.
