North Creek Golf Club
Played On 10/08/2017A nice surprise
Played this course about seven years ago and remember it being a dive. Went back today on the way home to play an extra round to close out a golf trip. Much different than I remembered. Smooth, true-rolling greens. Quick, but not like putting on glass. Well kept fairways and rough, and (was told) that all of the brush on the surrounding mounds had been cut down and regrown into playable turf. Made the course much better looking, while also playable. The course is short even from the "tips" but has enough water, trees, hazards, and side hills to make it challenging. Sand traps are well kept, but most are in need of a few truck of sand. They seemingly put work into plowing/raking, but it's still mostly dirt. Nice course, give it a chance if you happen to find yourself in the Memphis area.
Kelly Plantation Golf Club
Played On 07/26/2017Best in the area
I've played 7 or 8 courses in the area over vacation during the past few years and this is easily the nicest. Very scenic with quite a bit of sand and water, the holes are challenging but fair. Well manicured fairways with fast rolling greens. Careful, the well kept rough will eat some golf balls. Friendly staff, and a bit pricey, but they all are down here. Only minor complaint would be some stray piles of grass clippings scattered on a few fairways, but looked like maintenance was tending to the course whenever they could work in between holes. I'll be sure to return on future visits.
Executive at Rebsamen Park Golf Course
Played On 07/20/2017Nice municipal course
I've played out here a number of times. Greens are almost always in great shape. Nice fairways to play off of with acceptable rough. Sand traps almost always need some work (partially on staff, partially on other golfers never raking). Pace can get slow on the weekends, but that's a municipal course for you. There are certainly nicer "private" courses in Little Rock, but well kept greens, nice views, and a challenging (yet manageable) layout make this one a worthwhile round.
Regatta Bay Golf & Yacht Club

So many things were done right at this course, only to be ruined by the greens. Very friendly staff, passable practice facilities, and scenic course layout. Beautiful fairways meet with challenging rough with just the right amount of bunkers and water. Then you get to the greens... We played here over a year ago and they had lost the greens (nearly ruined them). I was assured when getting a starting time that they were in great shape. Great shape for a municipal course, poor shape when you're paying $150+ a throw. I understand paying a premium for vacation golf, but it's nearly criminal to have greens fees that high with that many brown/dead spots on the putting surface.
Nice course, but probably not worth that kind of coin.
"Best in the Area" Thank you for the recognition. That says a lot with all the wonderful golf courses in the area. We are fortunate to have a piece of land that offers the amazing views of the Choctawhatchee Bay. It makes for a very scenic round of golf. The architect and Fred Couples did a great job placing the holes to maximum views of the water. The rough is very thick during the rainy season in Florida which also makes for fantastic fairways and lush greens to putt on. It is a challenge to keep all the grass picked up but as you noticed our Turf Care department does an amazing job and really cares about the course. I want to welcome you back the next time you are in the area. My name is Ashton Crowe and I am the Head P.G.A. Golf Professional here and would like to thank you in person. Have safe travels and we hopefully will see you again soon.
