Greens are a little sandy and bumpy right now, but you can tell they were probably aerated in the last few weeks. The course will fill out late spring and I'm sure it'll be in great shape then.

Fairways are brown this time of year and have a great stand of turf. Although the course is located in Dickson, TN it's definitely worth the drive.

3 weeks ago we played this course and had to wait for 15 minutes past our tee time because the course didn't have enough golf carts.

Today we had a 3:48 pm tee time and ended up cancelling our round because we waited over 30 minutes and there was no chance of getting a cart soon. The attendant gladly gave us a refund, but the issue for me was that I cancelled a round of golf on Saturday so I could play this course. I drove over 100 miles today to play, but the course didn't have enough carts.

How can this be? It's not like the golf season snuck up on them. Poor management is my guess. If they are short on equipment, they shouldn't be letting 3 golf carts for 4 players either.

Couple this with fairways with a fair amount of grass loss and this keeps me, and the group of guys I play with, away from this course for the rest of the season.

Very disappointing, Maybe they should make a public announcement when they get enough golf carts to support their patrons.

Super course and even better staff. One of the best courses I've ever played. Love these folks! The only issue I see is the pace of play. There is a good ole boy group out there that plays 5- 6 to a group, has kids, won't let anyone play through and the staff won't say anything to them. They're chasing away customers. Tee'd off at 11:00, made the turn at 12:45 and hit a log jam with 4 foursomes backed up because of the good ole boys group. Finished at 3:30. As we left, we saw no one on the course. This group stacked everyone up and everyone was really upset. As I said, the course is losing customers because of these folks.

I live 10 minutes from the course and have played it more than 20 times. It used to be really nice, but it's been hammered to death over the last 10 years. I hope the new owners can breath life back into it. The greens are pretty nice, but the fairways, tee boxes and electric carts are likely the worst in the local area.

The only way to revive this course is to raise the rates and sink every penny into the grass. The fairways are poor to say the least. The other thing that keeps people away is the slow pace of play. Weekend rounds are over 6 hours because no one wants to prod the hackers along. Quicker play means more golfers and more revenue.

So raise the rates, put every penny back in the course and get serious about hiring some motivated course marshals that actually understand their role. There's no doubt this could be a great course again, but it's not going to happen overnight.

I have to say that this is unquestionably the best course I have played this year. Yah, it ate my lunch, but the course was in absolutely perfect shape. The ball sat up like it was on a tee in every (EVERY!) fairway. The greens had a few ball marks on them, but that's because they were so soft and not every golfer is smart enough to fix their ball marks. The staff was extremely friendly and the practice range and green were in great shape too. The course is nearly an hour from my home, and I can tell you the trip was worth it 100%.
