Course is on superb shape-challenging layout. Going back to play in a few days.

Played for the first time on 4/18, liked it so much, returned on 4/19. Pace of play on both days was 4 hours. Course is in excellent condition - good layout.

Played here 2 times in the last week, both times my group was held up by play in front of us - no rangers riding the course to speed up play. Today, 3/23/15, I played in a group of three. On the back 9, there was a single playing in front of us. On every hole, he waited for the 4 some in front of him to clear from 250 to 300 yards in front before hitting his ball, his longest T shot maybe 180 yards. On many holes, my three some would be waiting for the single to T-off while the 3 some behind us was coming to the T and the 2 some behind them were on the previous green. When I mentioned it to the young man in the club house about having a ranger ride along, he told me I should have called the club house and once I pointed out who the hold up was, he told me he would rather have him on the course instead of me. Too many other nice courses in the area for about the same price to put up with the grief.

I have played here 5 or 6 times over the past year and a half and each time the course has been in great shape. Rolling greens make putting very challenging.

Overall, the course is in pretty good shape. The greens on holes 1 through 4 are under repair but playable, all other are in good shape. Water can come in to play on 75% of the course. I'm returning with my sons who are only beginning to play - although the course can be challenging, it shouldn't frustrate beginners.

Course is in excellent condition. Greens are challenging. Long ball helps on some holes, but hitting the ball straight is more important on this course.
