I played with 3 very nice people. One was a scratch golfer and the other two were about my caliber. The golf course is beautiful and challenging with plenty of character. The winds were blowing 20 mph and then gust upward of 30 mph but it was still a very enjoyable experience. Playing it again on the 27th!

Having just stepped off a plane following a 5 hr flight I wasn't sure if it was smart to play golf but I got such a good GolfNow deal I figured if I only got in 9 before dark it was worth it. I started at 3 pm and went off by myself. The course was beautiful and challenging. The planes and helicopters flying overhead were a bit distracting but not disruptive. I will play again if ever in Vegas again

Good short course for practicing your short irons and hybrids. Only used driver off a few tees. Sometimes hit a 7 wood but lots of water along fairways and in front of greens. But it was fun and a friendly staff.

Grand Lake is a very high quality resort course. Great conditions maybe due to the PNC Father-Son Challenge being played here in less than 2 weeks. Greens are very subtle and fast - stimped at 12! Grain and speed provided plenty of challenge. Well bunkered course and especially around the greens creating a need for high soft approach shots. Well worth the cost if you get a good deal on GolfNow. I'll play it again next time I'm in Orlando.

And friend and I booked teetimes on line and only discovered shortly before that it was club championship day. More than 230 golfers had been on the course when we teed off at 4/00 pm. The pace of play was dreadfully slow and the greens showed the wear of 230+ golfers. However, the course is a wonderful layout. Lots of ups and downs and plenty of binkers and trouble aress. Due to the Club Champioship the pins were in really difficut areas. I'll play it again someday other than a Sunday and hope to bring my A game

Waverly Woods has a number of uniquely challenging holes so you need to be on top of your game and keep the ball in the fairway. Course was in good shape. I hadn't played the course in about 10 years so I=it was like meeting an old friend again after a long time. Played with a father and son twosome and the son had one of his best rounds ever on the course. He thought I brought him luck. Amazing what a little encouragement can do for someone's game!

Played River Marsh on a beautiful day following a few days of rain so the course played soft, especially the greens. However the greens were in excellent condition as was the rest of the course. There are a couple of funky holes . . . like No. 7 which is a short par 4, but unless you are in a very narrow landing spot you cannot see the green on your approach shot - large tall grass covered bunkers block your view of the green. Didn't have room to make a good hole so they tricked it up to make it play harder. Otherwise a fantastic layout!

Wonderful combination of holes. A good challenge from whatever tees you choose. The course was in great conditions. I loved the greens. They rolled true and at a great pace. True to Rees Jones there were some extreme penalties for just missing a green. I played on a Monday and pins were tucked on the edges so I finally wised up and went for the middle of the greens. A heavy rain squall stopped play for 30 minutes and when we restarted the course was draining amazingly. And I got a great price on GolfNow

The greens were not aerated until 5/19 due to a big tournament but that means that by 5/31 they were still relatively unplayable. Wondered if they sanded the greens after pulling big plugs, but heard from other players that the greens have been "so-so" the past couple of years. Too bad, the routing and variety of holes is an Arthur Hills gem. Rest of course was in pretty good condition.
