This course is in my rotation of courses I play regularly in the Marion County area. The greens and fairways were recovering from the summer maintenance. The greens rolled true, a bit slower than I'd like, but the fairways were beat up and the thinnest I've ever seen them. I know that they will recover in the next month but it was surprising to see it in this condition. Still a great course and I never pass on the burger and beer special.

I was extremely eager to play this course after it was redesigned by DL3. It lived up to everything I imagined. The amenities were great, free range balls, premier putting greens and an awesome clubhouse. The course is worth every penny and I will be playing it again this summer. Lots of sand and water on the course. Hole 15 is breathtaking with views of the ocean and beach. #17 wrecked my scorecard with water along the right and behind the green. We were a little late getting started due to a frost delay but the staff did a great job to keep it moving.

Got lucky with a hot deal for $20 on a chilly windy afternoon. The free range balls to start the round were great. The range and practice green were well maintained. The fairways were great, tight turf and challenging. The greens were firm, quick and not a flat spot on them. I loved this course and played in 2.5 hours as a single.

It was my first time playing this course and I will be back. Greens were true and in good condition. It had rained most of the previous day and the course was pretty dry with all things considered. A few fairways were soggy but overall it was in great condition. I will definitely be back this summer to play it again. Hole #9 is one of the prettiest holes I've ever played. #17 and #18 are on the water with spectacular views. The course has a good amount of water that is in play but enough room to miss it with good shots. I will be adding this to the list of courses I play each year on my visit to HHI.

I've heard only good things about Candler Hills and every word was true. The staff was great, helpful and friendly. The course was in spectacular shape, full fairways, true and fast greens and the layout was fun. The course is fairly wide open but with 88 bunkers on the course, each shot has its challenges. I will definitely play this course again.

This course was beautiful, challenging and fun to play. The course calls for a lot of different shots, tough pin placements and perfect greens. This is a long course with lots of sand and waste areas. I really enjoyed it and will be back again.

I've been playing this course for over 10 years and this is the best it's ever been. The greens and bunkers are great after being redone. The layout is great, easy to navigate and challenging. I hope it keeps getting better and will continue to be proud of my home course.

This course was a lot of fun to play. Great condition, fun greens and perfect fairways. It was a bit wet on some holes but other than that, a great course.
