I book on Golf Now. I title my review "A KEEPER" for a reason. I will keep this ocurse on my agenda while playing in the Palm Springs area because it is a geat golfing experience.

The course itself wsa in pristine condition. What a strking environment simply to be in, let alone to play a round of golf. The course layout with its fairways well maintained in prsitine condition as you could view from the T boxes perfecxtly green, margined by wide "browned" edges of brown grass were a beautiful image picture perfect.

I have over the years played here while visiting the Palm Springs area.

Overall golfing here has always been a positive golfing experience. This year it has been an exceptional experience.

Staff from arrival to finish are sterling and only enhance the golfing experience by being welcoming and helpful. From start to finish: Club drop off, PRo shop, Starter and return to club drop off to exit the course. Friendly and professional.

Consistent improvement in course condition. Presumably they have had a great greenskeeper the last couple of years as the course conditions are overall remarkably great.

Last two or three years enormous improvements in course conditions from T to green.

As nice as any public course in the area. In fact a cur above the average.

All personnel, check in & on the course, are friendly & welcoming.

Price of play has escalated such that play cost not as reasonable as in past thereby making the choice to play this course as compared to other courses no longer a slam dunk choice.

Not withstanding I still enjoy my visits to this course

I was 10 minutes late for my T time as I had misdirected myself to the course.

Notwithstanding on my arrival somewhat perplexed at being late I was welcomed immediately at the Starter. And was assured my lateness would not be a problem.

Indeed I hooked up with a married couple who were excellent companions for the round. Good golfers. Good etiquette and easy to get along with.

The course was in lovely condition. Greens well maintained and fast.

Fairways in great condition.

Pace of play excellent.

I have played this course previously and have enjoyed the course.

Its current condition has been the best I have seen it, but in fairness it has always been reasonably well maintained.

I wish to emphasize that it was a great golf experience starting with the welcome that put me at ease at being late

I am a Canadian and have a winter residence in the Palm Springs area.

I intend when I am able to spend more time in the US this coming year to make this Course effectively my "home" course given my lovely experience this year.

I am almost reluctant to give this course a positive rating that it might result it in it becoming too popular, but I am compelled to call it as I see it and as it deserves.

The course itself is challenging enough for any player.

The prostaff shop and personel are welcoming, friendly and obliging.

I have played this course among others for several years now and I seen increased improvements and care to the course itself to make it a welcomed and challenging golf experience.

This year in particular much effort has been made to get the course ready for this year's season of golf. The grounds and greenkeepers have to be commended.

I reluctantly recommend this course only because I am concerned it will be so popular that it will be hard to get a T time.

In a previous review I recall observing that this course is evidently a military course and that much military memorabilia & memorandum dot the T boxes, a reminder to the service and sacrifice of our solders in arms to make our life experience here safe.

Taking that into account it really is a special golf experience to play on this course.

I am using this process to contact golf now regarding my unsuccessful attempt to cancel this reservation and receive appropriate credit.

The course was not allowing power carts on my arrival and in fact did not have pull carts available.

I attempted to communicate with Golf Now by using my I phone to cancel prior to the T time but was not successful. My email was not effective. I also attempted subsequently to email and "chat" with Golf Now but was not successful as a follow up to my attempt to cancel. Golf Now's communications Protocol during the current Codvirus is not to a have telephone contact with members so I was unable to communicate my cancellation.

I would ask that Golf Now consider my request for cancellation in the circumstances.

I was frustrated and disappointed not to be able to communicate with Golf Now in a timely way to effect my cancelation.

You know in the presence of something special when playing this course, apart from the magnificent Vistas afforded by every single hole.

Evidently a playground of former Hollywood celebrities, more particularly the members of the Rat pack. The use of the mens' washroom through the locker room brings a feeling of being back to the 50's, 60's and early 70's.

The staff are friendly and no request seems too much.

Thoroughly enjoyable golf experience. Something special.

I did not stop for any food. I cannot therefore comment on its food amenities It's sister course across the road has good facilities for food however. The cart girl provided lovely welcoming service. Interestingly what was most impressive is that 8 holes later in our second encounter she remembered our parties' names.

Remarkable course. In great condition T boxes to greens.

Beautiful trees and fairways. Greens perfectly maintained and fast.

Well worth the drive from Edmonton.

Staff are friendly but Don't be late for your T time.

The club house and facilities are well maintained and the power carts typically used for bookings on Golf Now are electric and well cleaned and maintained.

But for the fact that I live in Edmonton I would consider Camrose as a home course.

I have become a great fan of this course.

Overall condition of course including fairways and greens have been improved over the last 2 or so years.

Staff are friendly and helpful.

Power carts have a military camoflauge motif. Appropriate and a nice touch.

Each hole improved with monuments and histories of theatres of operation of Canadian military. Interesting reading and reminder of the great service performed by Canada's military.

Some military relics such as a tank vintage Korean war and artillary gun adorn the 15th fairway.

The clubhouse is frequented by members of the military which adds a positive vibe to the golfing experience.

Staff greeted me in a professional friendly manner, Made me feel welcomed.

Starter also pleasant and made me feel welcomed.

The Club house and course are in lovely condition.

Although the course is open to the public the course caters to the local community of condo residents.

The course is well maintained and good value for golfers.

I have not played here for a few years. It is overall in great condition. A long course with Gold Tees for long ball hitters. I played the whites and that was plenty long enough.

The layout is quite lovely and challenging for all level of players. A country / rural setting. CN rail line running through the course with rail crossings to be abided by. Also interesting sounds of the train passing. Did not interfere with play however.

The course has undulations and tight / abrupt dog legs that require proper attention to manage the hole.

The reception is friendly. The club house could use some updating, but has its own charm.

I It is a 40 minute drive from the City but well worth the drive for a different and somewhat unique experience for a round a golf.

I intend to play here at least once more and perhaps more yet his season as I enjoyed the course.

The course uses electric carts which is lovely and suitable for the rural environment.

Long ball hitters will enjoy this course. Wide fairways but done the middle is always good. Off the fairways will challenge the average golfer to back on track.

Played earlier this year. The day I played they had a tournament scheduled and we were informed that we had to off the course. Later as we played we were told that we had to be off a half hr earlier than first advised.

In the result we were able to complete within the rescheduled time.

Staff are friendly.

The course is in beautiful condition. There are areas of improvements and some construction, which does not affect the pace of play. No doubt these finishing touches will enhance what is otherwise a beautiful setting as a golf course.

Enjoyed the course. Greens in remarkable nice condition. Staff friendly and helpful.

Course is surrounded by retirement community and there is a country atmosphere about the course, friendly and homey.

I would play here again.

Water comes into play and skill with your irons is helpful to play this course well.

Among the nicest course I have played. Great condition. Looking forward to returning next time I return to Palm Desert.

The curse is desinged with many waste bunkers. They are to be avoided otherwise you may have to take a drop for fear of breaking a club.

However down the middle is great.

If you play like that you will enjoy the course, unless you are obsessed with score.

Club Personnel are professional and friendly.

Club appears to be well operated.

Pleasant straight forward course. Enjoyable hook ups. Caters to all handicaps.

I have had the great pleasure of playing at this course for 3 golf seasons now.

Enormous improvements being made to the "track" each year. New impressive and informative monuments on each of the holes, reflecting clearly that this is, after all, a military course.

The course has lovely scenic holes, some which are wide open and rather dull, unless you can appreciate open sky (which I do). There is the occasional fly by of military aircraft, particularly helicopters, which provide an added element to the golf experience from time to time.

Although the wide open holes seem innnocuous, they can be challenging on windy days.

The scenic holes are also a comfortable walk through the woods and bring peace to one's mind, particulary if you get the occasional glimpse of a resident deer and not infrequently water fowl.

Staff members without exception are catering and helpful at every turn.

Course needs some improvement on fairways and greens, but still playable. I like the course's layout. I anticipate with improvements over the next 2-3 years the course will be very popular. Much of the layout attracts birds and waterfowl.

I only played here the first time about two weeks ago. I think the club house facilities are dated, but have a nostalgic charm like no other that I have encountered. Staff are friendly and efficient.

I found the holes all challenging and interesting layout. There is no doubt the course could use some upgrading along the paths from hole to hole and perhaps some better markings/directions, particularly to assist first time players. But I would play this course again.

I think it is fair value. There is obvious improvement and development occuring on the new holes.
