Indian Canyons was amazing! I was supposed to play Hemet, but I forgot to confirm my tee time and was stuck with nowhere to play. Decided to drive 1.5 hours to to Palm Springs and couldn’t be happier. Tee boxes were great. Fairways were lush. Greens were green and had good speed. Only bad thing I have to say is the frost delay. Instead of teeing off at 7am, we tee’d off at 8. Not the courses fault. Pretty challenging and local knowledge helped a lot. Shot a 92 which is my avg. Definitely had scoreable holes but I didn’t execute. Good for all types of players. Give it an A+

Was supposed to play with my father in-law a few weeks back for my birthday. Booked a 1215 tee time and got there 45 minutes early. Hit a small bucket, and we get to the starter and there is 1 cart available. There is 1 group in front of us who never showed. Starter said it’d be about 40 minutes to get us a cart. We wait until about 12:30, keep in mind we’ve been waiting for an hour in 114 degree weather, and decide to get a refund. The lady at the desk is very nice, and gave me a refund. Walk back to grab my bags to leave, and the starter says, well they’re not showing up so go ahead and take the cart. We’re like, seriously?! We leave to play Rancho vista which is a gorgeous course. Way better than alhambra. A week later I get charged $93 for a no show fee! Call golf now and the lady said she called the course and spoke to a GM and got me a refund claim. Said it’d take 7 days. Well it’s been well over 7 days and still haven’t seen the refund! And I’ve looked through my bank statements and I’m not entirely positive I got my refund for the round! So basically I’m out $105 for a round I never even played because their poor management, and then a bogus $93 no show fee even though we were in fact there. Our round would have been 6 hours due to all the walkers on 5400 yard course. I highly recommend you avoid this course. It’s not worth the it. The starter was very unsociable despite us trying to have a good attitude about all of it. He was very cut and dry. Not a great start to your round when you have to deal with someone like that. Definitely avoid!

Played here a while ago and really liked it. Second time around, wasn't as thrilled. Course conditions were average. Nothing too spectacular about this course. Narrow fairways. Greens were tough to read. Out in the middle of nowhere. Thought a $30 hot deal would be worth the hour drive, but not really. Staff were very friendly. Worth it if you live out that way, but the drive might be the deal breaker
