Declining

Talked to a few locals and after going from a 18 to 9 hole course this is in rapid decline. The layout is good but it could be maintained much better. Some tee boxes were in terrible condition. Pro shop staff employee that I a talked to wasn’t very friendly and kind of defensive when I asked him about it going from a 18 to 9 hole course.
If you want as 9 hole course that is in great shape you are much better off going to Qualicum Beach Memorial.

Nice course

Only had time for 9 holes. It was raining hard the night before and on the day I golfed. It stopped about 20 mins before I teed off. The drainage was fantastic! I didn't get wet and there were no soggy spots that I came across. Greens were beautiful as was the entire front 9. The ball still ran after hitting the fairways even though it rained allot. I was dill and did 9 holes in one hour fifteen mins. Beautiful course that is challenging.

Long ball course

Enjoyed this course as it is well maintained. Long distance hitters will like the long par 4 holes. Not a whole lot of sand traps but a couple of water hazards. Nice scenery as well looking out to the Olympic Mtns. of Washington State.

Very scenic course

Beautifully kept lush green course with many water hazards. Pretty good course as far as par 3 courses go. The greens are big and are challenging if you don't place your ball right. Longest hole was 170 yards. I'd like to see a couple more of those but it is for the benefit of working on your short game. Overall a beautiful little course. Very enjoyable.

Well maintained course

The course was in great shape and the greens were very well kept. This is a wide open course that is ideal for the beginner or average golfer that wanst to improve their short game. We got there a little early and were allowed to start as it was a little slow due to cloudy weather.

Would have been good

This course was in pretty decent condition condition and it would have been real good had they posted on their website that they were aerating the greens when I booked.  Had I know I would have booked at a later date. I asked if there was anything they could do for us because of this and the answer was no.  Not very good business sense.  The fairways were in good condition and there were no waits.  We did 18 in just under 4 hrs.
