Bonaventure Golf Club
Played On 04/18/2022Needs work - or at least water
Grounds staff were pleasant . Fairways were dried out and the greens were also dried out. Appears they were being worked on. Price was ok and pace was no issue since my twosome pretty much had the course to ourselves. Quite a few of the holes wrapped around water. Could have used some large red stakes to show water ahead. On the other hand, the ball rolled a long way. Potential to be a nice course is there - I just wonder if they were in off-season mode. .

Luckily I am not reviewing my round - because that sucked. The staff at the course was limited, but they were extremely friendly and helpful. I came after the morning rush so the course was wide open. The course itself was in fair condition - I would chalk that up to being summer. The greens needed a bit of work, weeding and watering - but they appeared to be rather true. I was confused on a few holes where the tee markers appeared to be switched - but it may just have been me. For the price, I'll play it again.
Twin Peaks Golf Course
Played On 07/04/2020A Good Day of Leisure
A good "Hot Deal" on GolfNow sent me to Twin Peaks - about a 35 minute drive. The deal included cart, but had I known the layout of the course, I may have taken the opportunity to walk. I was paired up with a single and a couple. Started off slow, but we managed the pairings with the group behind us and the pace was much better. It was fortunate that I was playing with someone who was familiar with the course - The layout could have been a bit confusing - though the tee boxes were well marked and one could follow the cart marks from green to tee. I played with a long ball hitter - but it did not discourage my particular game. For a public course, it was in good shape with few real obstacles to tend with - yes, i found one or two on an errant shot. The fairways were in good shape and the rough was fair with a few hard-pan spots, but that was to be expected due to dry weather conditions. The greens were fair and easy to read. Landing your ball a few yards off the green above the hole proved to be the most difficult of shots to get it close to the pin without rolling 20 feet past.
This was a good tune-up ( confidence builder ) for a golf trip I'll be taking shortly -- Thanks Twin Peaks, I'll be back.
Thank you for visiting us at Twin Peaks Golf Course. We appreciate your 4-star rating and review. We hope you join us for another round soon.

Chose this resort course because of the decent deal on Golfnow and ended up pleasantly surprised. Course was in good shape. Fairways were sufficient to accommodate a few mid-hits off of the tee.. Greens were undulating, but well paced and true.
Loved the view from the tee boxes - especially the highest tee box in America. Don't be fooled with the first impression as you walk up to the course . Once you are on the course, it is pretty awesome.
Interlocken Golf Club - Vista/Eldorado
Played On 02/21/2017I don't mind - It's February for gosh sakes.
A great deal through Golf Now for this Omni course. Started out extremely windy on the front nine, but calmed down by the back nine. Pace was great. Course was in good shape. Panoramic views on the Vista course. We did get our exercise in since it was cart path only. Starter Jeffrey was super cool and informative. The rest of the staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be accommodating even though we were not members. Wonderful experience for my friend from Xichigan with plenty of stories to tell his buddies back home - including an eagle on a par 4. Best of all, it was February and I was playing golf in Denver.
White at Gilbertsville Golf Club
Played On 03/08/2016Only downside was cart path only
Took to opportunity on a warmer than normal March day to dust off the cobwebs from winter. The course was more than fair, but you could tell that their spring readiness was not completed. Lines leading to the red/blue/white courses were faded and tee boxes were not easily distinguished. Chalk it up to better than normal weather conditions. Overall, it was a pleasant day.
Thank you for leaving your review it is important to us. We appreciate you playing at Gilbertsville Golf Club this early in the season! The early spring weather has been a blessing we are still making a few minor adjustments but bear with us. We hope to see you back here for more in the 2016 season!
