Nice Layout Very Challenging

I enjoy playing this course since it is so challenging. The par 69 sounds like a short course, but the par 3's are long & very challenging. A number of par 4's are very long & many have difficult carries & approach shots. It seems like a couple of the par 4's could be made a little longer & turn them into par 5's. Expect to shoot 4-5 strokes over your average round. Although challenging, all the holes especially the par 3 #10 are visually beautiful holes. I highly recommend playing this course.

Nice Course, Friendly Staff

I have played this course a number of times & enjoyed it every time. It has a nice walkable layout with a number of challenging approach shots to elevated greens. The beautiful ocean view on the 1st hole is worth the price of admission alone. I highly recommend this course.

A Great Gordon Lewis Executive Course!

I enjoyed my round on this nicely layed-out Gordon Lewis executive course. I have found Gordon Lewis designed courses always a pleasure to play & this was no exception. Anytime that I'm short on time, I will play an executive course & work on my short game. I have to say that this is probably one of the best executive courses that I've ever played & will definitely go back. A very pleasant golf experience & meeting a pair of really good guys made it exceptional.

Nice Little Executive Course!

I really enjoyed this executive track with mostly par 3's, but a couple 4's & 1 short par 5. Fellow in the proshop was very friendly & accommodating. Lay out is nice with a number of water holes, but nothing intimidating. Got around in under 3 hrs without any rushing. The course itself is very nice with some very pretty holes. I will be back.

I am so happy to hear you enjoyed our facility Annie! We are proud of our course and certainly love to hear that others enjoy it. It's no Old Corkscrew but it is a great track for someone who wants to get out and enjoy the weather and the price is hard to beat. Happy holidays to you Annie!

Beautiful Greens Challenging Layout

I've played this course many times, and I was pleasantly surprised that the conditions were so good & the greens were perfect & fast. You have to be safe off the tee box to score since many of the landing areas are targets for your next shot. It is a very fair layout with thoughtful course management being a must. I really enjoyed playing here. Although challenging, novices can play comfortably from the forward tees.

A Great Round with My Grandson!

The staff was friendly, helpful & efficient. We were able to get out early ahead of 2 ladies groups. They were so polite & encouraging, but we could not stay ahead of them fast enough....so, we let them play through. They were so gracious & we slowed it up a bit. The 2nd group of ladies never caught up to us. This is a very decent executive course that was great for playing with a beginner...also, a great practice course for the short game. It wasn't Pebble Beach, but the price was right & the course provided a fun 3 hours of golf with my favorite golfing buddy...My Grandson. He beat me & had a memorable day golfing with his Grandpop...so did I! We will be back.

Walked

Very Nice Public Course

My buddy & I played the Black Course (there's also a Red Course) & the walking rate was $15 for 18 holes. It is December after all, so the course was definitely in winter conditions with temperature around low 40's, but definitely warm enough if you layer up (I had a turtleneck, windshirt, sleeveless light fleece & my FJ raincoat & pants...plenty warm). Course is a little hilly on the back more than the front (I was cruising on the front, but slowed down a little on the hillier back since I usually take a care a cart, but walked due to temperature...my buddy who walks a lot had a much easier time of it). All in all, a great workout. Holes were fairly long from the white tees (about 6279 yards with a par 71) making it feel really challenging when you add the temp, wind & elevation. My buddy beat me 3 ways so I'm probably being a little critical, butI really enjoyed the course & would definitely go back again. An interesting fact is that it is located in Fairfield, but is owned by the city of Bridgeport.

Great Challenge & Interesting Holes

I played with my buddy George & we are both single digit handicaps & really enjoyed playing this course. The tee shots were challenging, but fair & the greens were smooth & fast. The staff was friendly & helpful & the driving range was a plus. We will play this course again....I highly recommend this course!

Nice New England Rolling Green Hill Course

Nice course with very decent tee boxes really nice greens. Bunkers were in good shape. The front nine was a pretty standard back & forth holes next to each other in a very open layout. Everything changed on #9 Par 3 with a beautiful 2 club steep uphill shot situated by itself in a beautiful setting. The back nine was in the woods with most holes distinct from the next. Beautiful green lush green rolling hills with interesting shots to set-up the next shot. Played with a local who really helped with local knowledge. I enjoyed it very much.

Nice Little Executive Course

This is one of my favorite executive courses which I use as a nice short game practice round. I prefer to play regulation courses, but when I'm short on time, this is a nice facility for a decent price. The staff is always pleasant & helpful.

Nice Layout..Decent Greens & Accommodating Staff

Moderately priced course with a nice layout, decent greens, & accommodating staff make this course worth playing. Conditions were decent & the threesome I was paired with were a pleasure. I arrived a little late & the pro drove me to my car to get my clubs & then drove me to the 1st tee to pair up with my group. He went out of his way to accommodate me. I would definitely recommend this course.

Nice Layout Good Price.

With two 18 hole courses the CC of Miami is a really nice layout with plenty of availability. Nice greens & friendly staff along with a very convenient location that is easy to get to from anywhere in Miami. The price is fair for this municipal course with a nice sportsbar restaurant, driving range & chipping and putting greens.

Spectacular Tee to Green!

I've only played a few courses this nice. My first time so I played the tee box one up from my regular & it made the round just a pleasurable experience. Nice wide open fairways that are like an emerald green carpet. Everything was great about this track. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Every golfer should treat him or her self at least once at this course...it's a beautiful golfing experience. My wife & I loved it!

Wow...What an improvement!

I played this course last year that had recently been bought by a new owner after years of neglect, and it was a bit ragged & of need of work although the greens were in decent shape which in combination with a good price made me go back several times. But, I played this week & was pleasantly surprised to see the great improvements to the course this past year. The tee boxes, bunkers & fairways were very nice, and the greens were far better than last year. It's obvious that they put a lot of money & effort into the course & it's paying off. There was a lot more play too.

Nice Layout, beautiful views, disappointing conditions & pace of play.

I played this courses years ago & remember pristine conditions matching the high price for non-residents at $82 with cart before 2pm on weekends. With it's beautiful layout & wonderful views I didn't mind the high price tag, but when the pace of play prevents you from finishing before dark with a 4-1/2 hour casual pace (front nine was over 2-3/4 hours & I left after 14 holes with about a half hour before dark), it's really frustrating to see that the ranger was definitely not enforcing at least a 4-1/2 hour pace of play which would have allowed us to complete our round well before it would be too dark). The starter even gave us a card that he attached to the window of our cart with what time it should be after every three holes- we were at least a half hour behind "their" demanded pace of play after 6 holes, but the ranger disappeared after 6 holes. I am not normally this critical, but Richter Park's cavalier attitude toward non-resident visitors paying exhorbitant prices for playing a course that did not live up to it's image in my mind in terms of maintenance, staff helpfulness, and just plain forgetting about the fact that they are selling outdoors physical entertainment to their "guests." If I was a senior resident walking during the week, I couldn't complain about the $25 for 18 holes....oh well.

Great Layout...Great Conditions...Friendly Staff!

Really enjoyed our round on this beautiful rural course in Hebron, Ct. It was only around 50 degrees the day we played, but the course way in super shape with great greens & bunkers. We were a twosome & 2 foursomes let us play through on holes 2 & 4, and we still finished in under 3-1/2 hours. I definitely recommend playing this course, & they have great rates for Fall. Thanks again to the friendly & competent staff.

Nice Layout OK Conditions.

Decent course for the money. Gets a lot of play because of pricing. Course conditions could be better....Greens are decent, but bunkers not raked. I think it was a fair value for the price. It's worth playing for sure.

Three Nine Holes Courses to Challenge You!

This is one of the older private courses that recently went semi-private open to the public. It is close & convenient within Bonita Springs & has very nice practice facilities included with your round. Nice cart & proshop staff with a very accommodating style. Can get busy during the high season & understandably a bit more pricey, but it's worth it. There are the 3 nines...South, North, & East. I like the East, South, & North in that order based upon layout & hole design. This is a definite "Must Play" is you're a golfer in SW Florida.

Really Nice Layout with Challenging Par 6 707 Yard Hole!

This is a very pleasant playable course with a very friendly & accommodating staff. It has some beautiful holes set in a natural setting especially the 10th. There are wildflowers on some of the holes that my wife noticed immediately with pleasure. The Par 6 707 yard #11 Challenger Hole (which can be played forward as a par 5) is unique, fun & the first par 6 that I ever played. The proshop & restaurant are more than adequate with a very helpful & friendly staff. It's a bit of a ride & the conditions are not pristine, but the layout & natural surroundings make it worth a trip. My wife & I really enjoyed it.
