I have played this course quite a few times in the past but new ownership raised the price of Tee Times by 50% or more and did nothing to improve the course. Before it was inexpensive so the expectation was relatively low but now it is even worse. Riding on the fairway will give you whiplash because of the craters, there is actually a cone in the middle of the fairway on one of the holes because the crater is like 2 feet deep, and you will lose balls down gopher holes. Oh, there is a huge tree that fell right by the green on a hole and it has been there for months. The exposed roots and the downed tree is in the bunker!
Hopefully there is a plan to add a lot of dirt, seed, and weed an feed to the fairways. Bring this course back to a decent quality for the community and we will pay without complaining!

I always enjoy playing Hemet. The course is in decent shape but the pace is always kinda slow. Luckily I have always been paired with good guys and we have a great time.

Played on the hottest day of the summer so the wide fairways didn’t offer much shade but I had a blast! Great course

The course is in EXCELLENT shape, beautiful and really challenging. With that said, the pace of play made me consider packing it in after the 4th hole. However I’ll be back as soon as I can!

Even in a drought the course is 4 stars. Great ameneties , challenging fairways, bunkers to keep you honest, and greens that challenge.

The California weather would have made playing on dirt a great day. The course is in good shape. The holes were poorly marked but that's because I'm new. was able to meet up with a twosome on the back nine and had a great time just being a part of it.

I am a regular at Weatherwax and I walk the courses more than I ride them. Great views with great exercise. Course conditions are good and the greens are very fast. Highly recommended for all skill levels.

I drove quite a ways to get there but it was worth every mile. I paired up with a couple of gentlemen that were regulars and they were very nice and helpful. The pace did not seem slow because it was such a beautiful day and the company was good but I can see how it could be very slow. One of the regulars said "keep it quiet so everyone doesn't find out about this place" - well I blew that one because I will tell all that will listen that Jamaica Run is a great place to play!

Initially thought that the course was more beautiful than it was challenging and then I realized that you could not separate the two. I am sure that play is slowed by the beauty of each hole that makes you pause to take it all in. Fairways were very good considering the drought in CA and bunkers are ALWAYS a factor. Highly recommend this course but bring a lunch because there is no clubhouse at the turn.

The course is very challenging and in awesome shape. I played by myself and made it through at a great pace. I M seriously considering becoming a member if The Elks Lodge to have unlimited access - it's that good.

Would easily give it. 4.5 if it were an option. Great time.

Some of the holes are a bit narrow but it is still a nice outing.

Good course to play wit a duo or group. Spread out so each hole has it's own personality. Play it!

I really enjoy this course. Layout is nchallenging and the greens are in pretty good shape. Fairways are heat damaged but since I played into the sprinklers - they are taking care of the course.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I approached Greentree as it not highly visible from the road. When I entered the clubhouse the gentleman that checked me in was very nice and even gave me tips! The fairways were green and the tee boxes challenging. Hole # 2 is mysterious - in a good way. After I finished the 9th hole I was looking for #10. Loved the course so much I wanted to turn 9 into 18 on the spot. I will definitely return!!

Really enjoyed Pleasant Hill. The fairways need a bit of "weed & feed) but the greens were really good. A lot of trees and the 14th hole eats golf balls (confirmed with a wiley ole veteran). Great time and will definitely choose this over a few others.
