The only complaint today was the difficulty in finding your ball in the rough!! Guess it pays to keep it in the fairway. I will remember that next time I play here.

Our six player group had a good experience at Western Skies yesterday. We had avoided the course after a bad experience a couple of years ago. We were very pleasantly surprised to see the striking improvement in the condition of the course, speed of play, and friendliness of the staff. It was going to be our last shot playing there but everyone agreed that Western Skies would now be on our regular list of options for future play.

Trilogy is well maintained and a good value in high season. The holes are interesting and the pace was on par with other courses at this time of year.

The Legacy never fails to please! We have golfed there at all times of the year and have always found it to be in excellent condition. The layout is challenging but fair with different “looks” on every hole. A very pleasant place to spend an afternoon.

We played on Thanksgiving afternoon and with few players on the course the pace was very fast! The greens too were fast and in excellent shape. Our only problem was with the reduced holiday staff the restrooms were closed. We do, however, plan to return and play Springfield again in the future!

A very well kept course with excellent green and fairway conditions. Some of the holes are "tricked up" with multiple mounds in unusual places, course sand in traps, and narrow valley like fairways. It's an interesting course but would NOT want to play it routinely!!

We liked the general "look" of the course but the EXTREMELY SLOW pace of play finally got to us and we quit after 14 holes. Course conditions were good considering that it was still cart path only after the overseeding and the staff were extra friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the slow play of groups ahead of us made for unacceptable conditions and we left after 4 hours. I sure wish something could be done to speed the play along as otherwise this is a nice course at reasonable rates!

Western skies is an average golf course. Value is good but you have to be used to desert roughs. The greens were in decent condition and very fast. This course has great monthly value memberships. Overall I will play this course again but not routinely.

The views from this course are magnificent but due to the recent overseeding the greens were EXTREMELY slow. Fortunately we played the last day of $65 green fees with the rates doubling the next day! It was definitely worth the lower rate but would have had much more difficulty swallowing the hairy greens at $130! I would like to go back in a month or so when the greens are mowed shorter.

Our threesome enjoyed our round at Desert Sands very much. It is an easy layout par 65 with well maintained and slow greens. The pace of play was fantastic! We thought we would only have time for 9 holes but it was so fast (2.5hrs) that we made 18 with ease!!

We enjoyed Club West and really liked the well maintained greens and interesting surroundings. The tee boxes were a bit rugged and the lateral rough areas were sparse but overall it is a bargain for the fees involved.

Viewpoint is a very well maintained par 71 course. It is on the easy side of difficulty and plays shorter than it's advertised yardage. The greens are very fast, especially for a public course with very reasonable rates. We will definitely be back again.

We were very disappointed with Poston Butte. We were under the impression that this was a very scenic course. It was not, except for one hole.
The course and practice area were well maintained but because of the VERY SLOW pace of play we gave up on the front nine and went back to the practice area before making the one hour drive back home. Fortunately we got a special rate but it was still too painful to finish the round at that pace. Needless to say we won't be back to play Poston Butte!

We found Papago well maintained and staffed on an usual chilly day in Arizona. The mountain and butte surroundings are a positive but found the MANY large sand traps trying. We also noted the long yardages on most of the par 3's from the white tees to be more than we could handle at our level of play.

San Marcos was very disappointing. The course is a flash back to the 1950's with flat, very closely spaced holes with minimal fairway grass and poorly maintained tees and greens. Even at $30 it wasn't a bargain since it was "barely golf". It's unfortunate since it's the oldest course in AZ (1913) with mature trees and central Chandler location. It was a "one and done" golfing experience for us.

We thouroughly enjoyed our round yesterday here and will definitely return in the future. It was well maintained with fantastic mountain vistas. The pace of play was a tad slow and the sand in the bunkers was coarse but overall it was a very enjoyable day at Las Sendas.

My wife and I played Devils Claw on Thanksgiving afternoon. We finished in 3.5 hrs and enjoyed the course. It was challenging for us (bogey golfers) and the greens were fast. Our only negative comment was that most of the holes looked the same, from a visual perspective. We would return though to play because of the great condition of fairways and greens and the very friendly staff.

We would have given this course five stars if it wasn't cart only for overseeding. We knew that would be the case before the round but would like to play the course again when these restrictions are lifted later in the season.

Greenfield Lakes plays well with interesting holes on this short par 62 course. It is well maintained and the "fire" sale of $18 including cart was a great value.
