My wife and I liked everything about Twisted Oaks. On arrival the staff were friendly and welcoming especially the starter. The course was in excellent condition apart from some wear on the tee boxes and the greens were the best we have played on this trip to Florida. Certainly better than the two World Woods courses. They were running at about 12 on the stimp, but although the greens could be undulating the holes were cut in sensible positions and putting was a pleasure. The course is scenic with tee options for all players. The pace of play was excellent. As a two ball we got around in 3 hours. It was a pleasure to find a course open to the public in such great condition and a credit to the owner and staff. We hope to play here again before we return to the UK next week and Twisted Oaks is firmly on the list for future trips. Highly recommended.

My wife and I first played Pine Barrens 2 years ago and I was looking forward to playing the course again. This is one of the best layouts anywhere and great value through Golf Now. The staff were friendly and the course was in great condition although the greens were slower than on our last visit. The pin positions were difficult being cut on slopes on virtually every green. Our only real problem was the pace of play. There was no starter or Marshall and we were held up on every shot after the first 3 holes. This did detract from our game. If Marshall’s are not available it would help if the management stressed to players the need to wave faster groups through. That said I could not come to Florida without playing both the courses at World Woods.

My wife and I first played Rolling Oaks 5 years ago and it remains on our must play list each time we visit Florida from the UK. It is my wife’s favourite course period and certainly in my top 3. The course was in excellent condition with the fairways outstanding, the greens were true if a little slower on this visit. The staff were friendly and as we played in the afternoon the pace of play was fine. A particular feature of World Woods is the absence of traffic noise and housing. This makes for a relaxing round and it was a pleasure to see the abundant wildlife. This course has tees for golfers of all abilities; testing for the better players but playable by those with higher handicaps. This is very much a place to go play golf. The restaurant is pretty basic , but hey there are plenty of places to go and eat.

My wife and I first played Juliette Falls 5 years ago on our first golf trip to Florida from England. We thought then that it was one of the best courses we had played and we have now been back for our third holiday in the area. The course is an outstanding layout and was in excellent condition. It is challenging, but fair and the tees available cater for every level of golfer. The greens were a credit to the superintendent and his team. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. We finished our round only 10 minutes before the restaurant closed at 6 pm but were still able to get a burger for which we were very grateful. I would strongly recommend Juliette Falls to anyone visiting the area. Very competitive deals are posted on Golf Now. We shall play the course again before we go home.

My wife and I played Plantation as a four ball with another couple over from England with us on vacation. I had last played the course 3 years ago. We booked through Gofl Now and got an early tee time. On arrival we were struck by how friendly and welcoming the staff were. There were no exceptions and this set us up for a good day. Although it had rained heavily overnight and water features on many holes the course was in good condition and the greens were as good as any of the 10 other courses we have played in Florida on this trip. When the wind got up in the latter part of our round the course got considerably harder and errant shots ended up in the various water hazards. This did not detract from our day. The course has a great atmosphere and when we had a meal in the clubhouse afterwards the members we met were as friendly as the staff. I would recommend Plantation to anyone who is on vacation in the area.

I played Pine Barrens with my wife and another couple over with us on vacation fron England. My wife and I had played Rolling Oaks three times, but this was our first visit to Pine Barrens. We booked through golf now an although I had read some negative reviews about how the staff treated Golf Now customers we found every one friendly and helpful. There were plenty of tee options and we took the starters advice to play off the Whites. The course is a brilliant layout and was in excellent condition with the greens quick and true. We had not played a course before with all waste areas rather than bunkers, but soon got used to it. I don't think there is a weak hole on the course and provided you play off a tee that fits your ability level you will have a great day. We will certainly come back whenever we are in Florida

Last time my wife and I played here we got rained off so wanted to come back and play the whole ourse. We got a good deal through Golf Now and arrived early enough to have lunch before we played. All the staff were helpful and friendly and we were made to feel welcome. The meal was fine. The layout of the course is good, but the back nine is by far the more interesting with the 12th and 13th holes exceptional. The second nine was also in better condition although all the greens were good. I would recommend anyone visiting the area to play here. The course was not busy when we played, but we still took longer than normal to get around mainly because we took different routes on the 12th. Next time we will know how to play the hole. I can recommend Brooksville to anyone like ourselves who is on vacation in the area as an interesting course where you will be well looked after.

Let me be clear from the start that this is a top quality course as good as any I have played in Europe or elsewhere in the USA. The layout is superb with tees to suit golfers of all abilities. The greens were in good condition although slow by Florida standards on the day we played. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great first 9 holes getting around in just over 1.5 hours. Unfortunately after 3 holes on the back nine we came up behind a group of 5 players who were noisy and playing from the back tees when they did not appear to have the skills to do so. The Ranger told us that they did not permit groups to play as a 5 ball and that he had told them to let us through. They did not do so and my wife did not want to push the issue as she felt uncomfortable. This did spoil the back 9 for us as we were waiting on every shot. However, I recognise the difficulty of dealing with people who flout the rules and this incident will not stop us returning to Rolling Oaks whenever we are in Florida.

This was the third course my wife and I have played in the Naples area this vacation and by some way the best. We had a late, 1 22 , tee time and on arrival found the staff welcoming and helpful. We had a light tasty snack in the clubhouse and then moved to the adjacent practice area. It is always good to hit balls off grass and the facility had chipping, putting and bunker practice on the way to the first tee. We found the course in very good condition for the time of year and there were tees to suit players of all abilities. As a Senior , 17 handicap, on my first visit I played from the Whites and my wife from the Gold. I played to my handicap and we had a great day getting around in 3.5 hours. The greens are smooth and true , but pretty tough and we both missed too many putts, that was our problem no the fault of the Greens. This is a scenic course not encroached on by housing and I would recommend it to any visitor. My only suggestion would be to improve yardage markers as the carts do not have GPS.

I played with my wife and although there were mixed reviews on this course we found the staff friendly and helpful. There were plenty of tee options to suit players of all abilities and the course and greens were in good condition. Although there was water on most holes, I only went in it when I ignored the clear advice from the cart GPS and took driver when a long iron or fairway wood was the sensible option. The day we played was dry, but with a 25 knot wind so some of the longer par 3s were challenging. Before playing we had lunch in the clubhouse where there was a varied menu at reasonable prices. We enjoyed our day and would have no problem recommending the course anyone visiting Naples.
