Way to slow

Very nice course overall. Great course layout, especially the back nine. Course was in good shape, although I think the greens rolled a bit to fast. Despite that, we had a unsatisfactory round. Way to slow, nearly 5 hours for 18 and waited and almost every shot. Maybe we just went on a bad day. I'll probably be back to see if the pace is bad again. Would otherwise be a great course for a decent price.

Course was in great shape

I had a great experience at this course and plan on playing here again very soon. The pace of play was fantastic, under 4 hours for 18 and we barely waited on any shots. No complaints about any course conditions at all. Very pleased and highly recommend the course.

Quick little Par 3 Course

The course is exactly what it was meant to be. A quick Par 3 course that you can play in an hour and work on your short game. I wouldn't call it a true round of golf. At $10 the price isn't bad, but it's really not that fun of a course. All the holes are basically the same, 80-110 yard par 3's with small greens and the occasional bunker around the green. Tee boxes are basically rough. Greens looked like they hadn't been worked on in a while. Overall, you get what you pay for and it is a fun way to work on your short game while actually playing a round.

Not worth the money

The prices would make you think it should be a five star golf course, but I hesitate to even give it two. The pace of play was horrendous. Nearly 3 hours to play nine, we didn't even bother to play all 18. I've seen cheap public courses in better shape that this one. The tee boxes were awful. The fairways were also pretty bad, and it was some of the patchiest rough I've ever seen. The greens were in fair condition and rolled pretty true. Fairly easy course with boring holes that offer very little excitement or fun. Most certainly not worth the extremely high prices. Never again.

Beautiful Mountain Golf Course

As a resident of Illinois I have never seen such a scenic and beautiful setting for a golf course. The course itself looks nice but the mountain backdrop is just phenomenal. Aside from the looks the rest of the course was good to. Moderately challenging but overall fun course with many fun holes. I particularly liked the par 3s with elevated tee boxes. The course was in good shape. Greens were tricky but rolled well. Tee and boxes and fairways were in great shape. Tje staff was nice. They really push for pace of play, and they boast about how they'll have you finish 18 in 4 hrs and 7 min. But even if you play fast don't expect to finish much faster then that because as long as the group ahead of you is keeping is that pace you can't pass them. So we were stuck behind a slower group we couldn't pass. it is expensive but I think worth the price, especially if your on vacation.

Nice Public Course

Great course with a lot of fun holes. Challenging where it needs to be but great for golfers of any skill level. Probably not worth the money unless you are a resident or can find a golfnow deal. Bunkers aren't in the best shape but fairways are greens are nice. Rough is a little long. Front 9 is pretty standard. Fun island green hole. Nice par 3s. Back nine is beautiful, fun and challenging. Overall, a good looking course that I would most definetly suggest to a friend.

Very unique golf course

Very unusual course. If you are looking to shake things up a bit this a great option. A little bit expensive if your not a resident of Joliet but it's easy to find hot deals on golf now. Pace of play was very good. Staff was extremely friendly. The course was in decent condition. Nice greens but otherwise everything was just fair. Nothing bad though. You can tell the facilities are old. Course is short and tight with a lot of trees and some pretty extreme doglegs. Hard to hit driver off tee. Overall, great way to shake things up if you can find s round at the right price.
