I like the course as I have played AZ Grand several times over past couple years. The only issue I have is that the greens are in really rough shape..probably the worse greens I have played in AZ and been coming here for over 20 years. Looks like they have had some type of disease and not sure what will be done to repair. Otherwise it is a fun course

Palm at McCormick Ranch Golf Club

The layout is good but the course was below average in shape. The fairways on the front were ok but not so much on back 9. The greens were ok. The "rough" was in pretty poor shape overall.
Considering the price the mantra of you get what you pay for holds true.
I would rather pay $20-$30 more for a course that is far superior to this one.
Elbel Park Golf Course

This is very nice course and they have some excellent greens that run fast! Nice layout. Only downside is Tuesday mornings they have a women's league and the pace was extremely slow 2 hours 20 minutes for front 9 and 1.5 hours for back nine...

Great course BUT pace of play was ridiculously SLOW..5 hour round..on a Monday...asked Ranger after 13 holes about pace his comment was "your right on pace"..and "lucky it isn't 5 1/2 hours"..Rangers obviously don't care or do much to speed up play...slowest round of the winter...
