The course still had winter turf conditions, but it is early. The course was cartpath only due to heavy rain 2 days earlier, which is not my favorite thing. The carts had GPS which was nice and useful. It was very busy, which our local playing partner said was the norm for this popular municipal course. Greens were in very good condition

The course was good but not outstanding in layout or scenery; greens and most fairways course conditions very good but around the greens, some fringes were worn thin. Pace was slow and no ranger around to help speed it up. The range was sub par; no stand to put your clubs on and no club cleaning water or brushes. The parking was a disaster---totally lacking the capacity. I drove around and waited for someone to leave for 20-25 min before finally giving up and parking in a " company" space. As a consequence, I lost virtually all of my warm up practice time and was stressed when starting the round. The club staff was not very concerned about this problem and offered little or no help/suggestions to park for a while. The one person just said it was a busy day and they could not do anything about it Very disappointing. Don't think I will ever go there again

Course very nice, conditions excellent. Challenging for me due to winter offseason inactivity plus lots of water , difficult greens and wind. The slope ratings seem understated. Many greens are small, elevated about 6 ft above the fairway and relatively fast. Hitting the green and staying on it requires a very accurate high shot( flop shot from just off the green) or you will be off the green a fair distance on the opposite side where another difficult flop shot awaits you. Bunkers are plentiful but very well maintained with plenty of sand to blast. Definitely would play again but after tuning up my short iron game and flop shots in particular.

The course cost for 9 holes was relatively low, but now I understand why, Course conditions were poor, partly due to the late winter time, but all the greens were sanded apparently after aeration and putting was nearly impossible. Someone should have told us about this. Very disappointing to be surprised by these conditions

The course conditions were good relative to others we played in the HH area this week. All courses still are in late winter mode, however, The course is very forgiving, except for the wooded areas if you go there. The GPS /rangefinders on the carts are a very nice touch that many courses in the area do not have, but the price is a little higher than other courses also. The staff will push you to stay on time if you tarry, which is good to avoid slow pace of play. Many other courses do not do this and they sometimes are very slow. Overall, of several moderately priced courses we played, this is our first choice

The course had a nice layout and was scenic, but the turf conditions were not yet ideal due to early spring---fairway grass thin and rough as well. Difficult around greens due to many traps on the approaches, requiring good short iron play. The starter was not very friendly. Pace of play was very slow---over 5 hrs for 18 holes and had to wait at almost evry tee. No ranger help apparent to move people along.

Course conditions very good and greens pretty fast but fair. Staff there is very friendly & accomodative . we had a tee time but we were delayed and they gave an adjusted later tee time to accommodate us. Good value for the money but they do want You to move fast, suggesting our foursome should finish in 4 hrs and when you are running behind you get a warning on the GPS on the cart. The GPS provided on the cart is something that similar priced courses in the HH area do not provide and is very nice. THe course has some nice features and some challenging holes and the grass just off the fairway(Brillo. Pad like grass that some pros call " I'll. Kill ya"). The latter allows the ball to drop to the bottom and it is hard to find( sometimes you need to step on it to find it) much less hit it. You need to stay on the fairway!

Course conditions were good, especially the greens but the tee boxes had very long grass and tees sat very low unless you had extra long tees . Pace was very slow because a foursome ahead of us were hitting lots of errant shots and no one from the course tried to move them along. No GPS nor towels are provided. My recommendation to a friend would be qualified, not strong.

An excellent day of golf here; the course is not that long but offers some design challenges and great aesthetics. It was our first time here, but we will come back soon as we can. greens were in very good condition and had consistent speed. Lots of sand traps, especially on the par 3 # 16

The course conditions were very good and it was quite scenic with the foothills background; very nice course design , but with a few challenges due to tight fairways, hills & valleys where it was difficult to know where to hit , even with the golf cart GPS, which was good for yardages, but hard to see (due to the glare/poor screen clarity) for terrain features. The only major negative was NO WATER on the course to wet your towels or to drink; they provided a cooler and ice at the 1st hole but no water to put in it on the course when we quickly depleted the one bottle of water ea that we brought along; this needs to be fixed in such a hot climate in the summer, no excuses! The other minor irritant was no one operating the snack bar when we badly needed liquid after 9 holes. Apparently he was on break when we and another earlier twosome arrived thirsty and then 10 min later appeared , but was a little snarky and not friendly. Better find someone who likes the job there and deals with customers in a more friendly fashion

The course conditions were very good, considering it is late winter. Greens were smooth, in good shape and fast. The sand traps had adequate sand , unlike some other courses we played.. Just the right balance of woods and water to make this challenging for the intermediate golfer , and multiple choices of tees to fit your age and/or handicap. The course personnel were very nice. An extra bonus was the free beer & sandwich included in the price. Definitely will play this course again when we return to HH island.

Course is a good value for the money. Course conditions were the best of four courses we have played so far in the HH area on our trip here. The greens were fast but smooth and true. The course design is very nice and has good aesthetics.

The course conditions were OK in the fairway but sometimes below average just off the fairway( granted , you shouldn't be there, but dirt or bare, little grass). Greens good condition and very fast with plenty of undulations to challenge putts. There is a fair amount of water throughout the course and sometimes very close to the fairways which also makes this course challenging for the intermediate golfers. The design aesthetics and course conditions with warmer weather in a few weeks will probably be much better and good. Good value for the $.

The course conditions were very disappointing. The tees had a lot of bare spots, sand in the bunkers was thin & hard. Turf in the rough was very thin in many areas or just dirt. Greens were in good shape and were challenging . Fairways wre dried out and brown.. Range balls were included in the price, but there were on;y a few balls lying on the range to use for warm ups. The hole layout/design for # 12 was not pleasant. Tee time intervals were too tight and we felt rushed the whole time even though we played the 18 holes in 4 hrs. This course is not even close to being worth the $ 85 pp that was shown for a pm tee time tomorrow. Very disappointing round for the four of us.

The course conditions were very good. The course design is fairly wide open and flat terrain with no exceptional features. It is a good course to practice and tune your game for the challenging desert courses, although the 9th hole has challenges with water along the entire fairway and in front of the green. The cost was also relatively low. It could use more drinking water stations. It was very hot when we played and we ran out of drinking water and couldn't find any for a while, nor a food & drink cart to replenish.

The course was beautifully scenic and a good buy for the price. The range practice area was a little too small and crowded, but this is a minor issue. Course conditions were excellent, but the slope ratings seem much too low for the challenges compared with many other courses that I have played and my skill level, even at the intermediate tees. Every tee shot must be straight and fairly long to cover the desert terrain or your ball is lost. I lost a few yesterday!

The course conditions on the fairways & greens were good; the rough was still thin due to the transition from winter. The course is good for new golfers who want a nice place to play but cannot yet/do not want to deal with an extremely challenging course.

The course conditions were very poor----weeds throughout the fairways and the rough was virtually devoid of vegetation. We have played this course numerous times in past years,but the course conditions were never this bad. I wonder if they are in financial distress and not investing in maintenance of the course or perhaps the grounds superintendent is not
