Southwind Golf Course
Played On 09/21/2023It would have been helpful knowing the Greens were recently aerated. I drove 160 miles to this course. Had I known, I would have played a different course. The staff said they told GolfNow about he aerating. I feel like I wasted my money and blame GolfNow.
White/Blue at Dandridge Golf & Country Club

We played the white and then supposed to play the red. When we finished the white, I noticed the first tee of the red course had 7 carts waiting to go out. We had only had a twosome in front of us on the white. I stopped in the clubhouse to find out why these people were starting on the red and not the white. I was told, that’s the way it is. If you don’t want to wait play the whites again. Very poor. Don’t know if I’ll play there again.

The course condition has been bad for a while. Found out today they are closing at the end of the month.

I have played this course many times and usually enjoy it. However, the last time when I arrived at the course and checked in I was told that the front nine was closed. No advance notice of this was provided. Since we had already prepaid, we had to play. The other problem was the number of singles on the course. Every time you turn around, a single was pushing from behind. I've never played a course where that many singles were allowed out.

Some greens were in poor condition. Quite possibly some disease. Nice design. Nice changes in elevation.
