The course layout was a little strange. For example on the first hole all three players in the group I was in played our second shots towards what we thought was the first green, it wasn't. It was the green for the second hole. This is a must ride course as there are many variations in elevation. The greens were in need of some repair as it seemed almost every one had patches of turf missing.

A great nine hole course, that presents enough challenges for the novice to moderately proficient golfers to enjoy a day on the course. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

The staff was very friendly at check in as was the refreshment cart. They weren't letting golf carts go to the driving range, but it was open if you wanted to drive your automobile over there. The practice greens were open. The fairways and greens were in very good condition. However, a few of the tee boxes were in need of repair. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

The staff was great, the course well maintained except for a couple of tee boxes. It was, however, quite noisy from the traffic on two highways and an Army base that had a locomotive intent on letting everyone know within range that it was running.

I was a little concerned as I pulled into the parking lot to see that a tournament was about to tee off at 12:00 pm prior to my 12:27pm tee time. Predictably the pace of play was slow. It took 3 hours to play the first nine. It picked up a bit on the back which only took 2.5 hours to play. Other than that I had a great experience. The course was somewhat challenging but offered a duffer like myself several birdie opportunities and chances for par. The greens were a bit bumpy and the tee boxes could use some work otherwise the course was in great shape.

This course was in excellent condition with incredible views of Monterey Bay.
