Couple of the greens were being worked on, but only the very edge. Other than that, nice!

Greens were in good condition, a bit shaggy but I’m sure the rain the night before our early morning round had something to do with that. Tees were a step down from the greens, okay but not great. The fairways were pretty bad. Not sure if they lost some to heat or disease but there was tons of brown, add in the crabgrass and the very thin grass and they don’t score well in my book.

Waited 45 minutes after my booked Tee time to find out the reason for the delay getting off the first Tee was a lack of golf carts due to a frost delay. Not really sure how that affects how many carts you need for the tee times you have booked but whatever. Bottom line, the told me that it could be another hour before I got a cart so I could start my round. Got a voucher for my round and went to another course and played the front by myself in the hour I would have been waiting for my cart. Need to work on the management at this course for sure.

I've played this course too many times to count. This was by far, the worst condition of just about any course I've played. I know we have been in a pretty extended drought in SJ, but I'm not saying the grass just wasn't green. There was NO GRASS! Not on the tee boxes, not in the fairways, not in the rough. The greens have grass but it was long and they were excruciatingly slow, I guess because they didn't want to lose them too. Can't see myself giving this course any more of my hard earned money anytime in the foreseeable future.

Course was in average condition for this time of year. Greens were discolored but pretty true. Much of the course had very thin grass off the fairways. Had a couple chips from just off the greens and was hitting off dirt. Every trap had water in it and we have hadn't had much rain. They had many workers out on the course so hopefully these things will improve as the year goes on.
