Course was in great shape. Group in front of us had old school hard spike shoes on and had to drag their feet on the greens around the pin making it difficult to putt....Really ? I don't know....maybe have the starter check everyone's shoes prior to teeing off? Those spikes are horrible for players behind and probably not good for the course maintenance crew either. Other than that, no complaints and if a person is considering playing here, I would highly recommend it.

I was told that if I wanted my girl to ride along it would cost me 20.00 extra. That was the first time EVER that I was charged there or at any other course for her to ride along. She went into the lounge after nine holes and grabbed a couple bags of peanuts that said 2 for 1.00 printed on the bag. I told her to expect to pay a couple of dollars when the bartender said it would be 8.00 !!! This is so unbelievable , I could never make this stuff up. I wonder how many people will never return there because of greed. I'm one, that's for SURE. The golf course? I'm not going to bother reviewing that. It's a moot point

I have played the South course before and it was very nice. This day on the North course was perfect weather, 70 sunny no wind. The course had a great layout. They were preparing for over seeding . Didn't bother us much although the fairways were yellow but still grass. I would recommend to anyone looking to play here that they would find a quality golf course.

Always have heard good things about this course so I had to make the drive. Excellent in every way. People were friendly, course was in great shape. This golf course reminded me of Primm golf course about 30 miles south of Vegas on I-15.... very similar, and that is a big compliment !! I recommend to any one to play this course if they haven't before.

Cave Creek always good for a quick round. I would not play it if I had to wait at every tee box. That kind of punishment is reserved for higher end courses. I had to pay for a cup of ice water......really? Greens were good. Course overall was in good condition.

If you can take the heat, now is a great time to play. The greens were almost perfect. With the lower summer prices and condition of course, two great things that go good together !! All positive.

The entire golf experience was great in the past when we all slept in the car to get out early. The New Papago is not bad but just doesn't hold the same appeal as it once did. Lay out is good. Less tree's. It has been cleaned up a bit. Greens were horrible when I played and club house is....well, just a box to except your green fees. Zero character now....maybe in the future it will get better. I hope the price does not increase to reflect the "changes" but it probably will.

New ownership with money is great news for this gem. One of my favorites to play. Just a few steps away from being one of the best places to play golf in the USA !!

This is a great course, lots of up and downs. Well taken care of. The Phoenician must hold some sort of record for the number of landscape maintenance workers on the course. Every hole I played had some sort of activity with landscaping maintenance. The desert 9 was interesting. The canyon 9 was stacked fairways back and forth up the mountain. Great views and great service but personally would not frequent this course from strictly a golf viewpoint. I kept looking for the dinosaurs and windmills.

Seems like every green was elevated. That's one way to make a flat golf course seem more interesting, but not the best way. No roll up on any green. All carry.

Fairways light on grass. Bunkers are dirt. Typical. Want white fluffy sand? Golf in Florida. Course has a good layout. Greens were good. Played on HOT deal, wouldn't spend much more to play here. Too many options in Phoenix area.

Nothing really bad to say. Enjoyed the round. Played HOT deal and wouldn't pay much more to play there.

It was very nice, well taken care of. Would not have went if wasn't for the HOT DEAL ! Greens were excellent. Put a ball way up in the air with a 7 iron on a par 3 and no divot. Greens were NOT soft but rolled true. The fee's on top of the HOT deal are a little high, let's not go crazy.....

I have always loved playing this course. This time however I was disappointed in some of the course conditions. How hard is it to have someone go out and pull weeds in the bunkers and rake them? This should be a priority. The bunkers were so bad I could not even call them sand bunkers. They were more like hard dirt/mud. Greens were bumpy too. Please don't let this GEM of a golf course suffer like others have done in Laughlin. If it does, I will have continue on my journey through the Laughlin area without stopping like so many others have done in the past.

Always a fun course/layout. Play was so slow that it took away from the game/fun. Pace of play needs to be addressed. Otherwise all good

I have listen to people say that this course is easy and that's not a term I would ever use when it comes to golf. I don't care if your playing Torrey Pines from the tips or Peoria pines from the whites, a person still has to make the shots. Yes a ball on the tee from multiple shorter par three's does make it a little easier but golf is never easy. The next time a golfer wants to tell me how great he/she is and how easy the course is, I'll just let their golf shot's do the talking. Peoria pines is a good course and fun to play. The greens need work though.

Typical older Sun City course. Nothing bad to say. About what I expected. Smooth sailing in calm waters. Good price on Golf Now Hot Deals so I decided to play. Some of the other course are priced too high this time of year.

I found myself walking off the yardage from the 100 yard marker to determine what club to hit my approach shot. Who would have to do this at a top rated course? Maybe remove the GPS icon from Hot Deals on Golf Now. People don't like to be fooled.

Fairways were thin and wet. Have to be right on the money with your irons. Greens were excellent....
