Bay Forest Golf Course

Course is in good shape. Staff is pleasant. We played behind a 3’some that we’re there to drink beer and not play golf. They were wearing t-shirts, gym shorts. Hit 3-4 tee shots off 75% of the tee boxes. At one point they shot gunned beers on the the tee box while we were waiting for them to move on. Not one time did we see the anyone out checking the course. They had 2 holes open in front of them and we were pushed by the groups behind us.
Kelly Plantation Golf Club
Played On 06/13/2017Love this course! It's in great shape. Staff is great, from the guy greeting you to the guy's grabbing your clubs after the round. I will play this course any time I'm visiting the Destin area.

The Quarry Golf Course

This is a great course. A lot of bunkers are under repair, but that's the only issue. Rest of course is in great shape. Staff is excellent.

Indian Bayou Golf Club

This is a great course and handicap friendly. Course was in great shape with the exception of the greens. They had been punch and covered in sand. The staff was great. Very friendly.
Southwyck Golf Club

Usually they have some of the best greens in town. Not right now! When checking in and paying full price the guy said some of the greens had a fungus and weren't in good shape. It wasn't just some of the greens. It was most of them. He said it would probably be the month of May before they were better. Rest of course is in good shape.
Battleground at Deer Park, The

This used to be one of the best courses around. Over the years it has slowly deteriorated and now it is just plain garbage. The fairways had little or no grass, the greens were a terrible. They were slow and bumpy. The tee boxes looked like they hadn't been cut in a week. The only good thing I can say is the employees were very nice, unlike the course. I will definitely take my money else where.
Evergreen Point Golf Course
Played On 8/12/2013Fun course. Not easy but not too hard.
I played here in June and the course was in terrible shape. Greens were already burnt and crispy and it wasn't even that hot yet. Fairways and bunkers weren't much better. After playing here yesterday I have to compliment the staff. The greens are in good shape, slow but look and roll good. Fairways are better as well. Bunkers are still terrible. Hard and rocks all in them. On the 5th hole some ***hole had driven the cart in the green side bunker and did donuts. Looked like it had been that way a day or two. Overall I think they are getting it back to a good course!
Clear Creek Golf Course
Played On 7/20/2013Course was in great shape especially after getting 11/2" of rain earlier in the day. Greens look great!
Overall course was in great shape. Staff is always friendly. Greens look great but greens are extremely slow. Frustrating slow!
