Straight forward layout. Played from blue tees, not overly long. Greens were nice, not too fast. Bunkers could use improvement. Pace of play excellent but it was very hot so not a lot of player on the course. The mango scented towels were a nice touch. Great vallue and I would recommend and play this course again.

First time playing this course and got teamed up with a couple of nice guys that knew the lay out. Course was in good shape and especially the greens. We had a 10am time and literally never saw another golfer, pace of play excellent. Weather very hot but it is AZ in June, great value as well.

I enjoy playing this course. It has a good layout and some challenging holes. Open fairways but you have to get the ball out there. Greens were a bit rough , but rolled true. Traps crusty. Will play it again, very good pace of play and a good value if you don't mind the AZ heat.

Course is located in a residential community so holes lined with homes. Course conditions were good, undulating greens that rolled nicely. Just a few holes with character so the greens are the challenge. Bunkers good, pebble sand/stone, so club slides through nicely.
Round would have been more enjoyable if winds weren't 30mph but I enjoyed the experience and a good value.

Unfortunately, I hit this course on a rainy, windy day. Even so I enjoyed the round. The course is more of a "links style" and I would have enjoyed some roll on the fairways but not to be with heavy rain at times. Still course was in good shape and the greens were fast. Worth the drive if you are ever in Southern Indiana.

Really enjoyed the round. Front nine open and long from the blue tees, back side completely different, tree lined with some sloping fairways. Greens were in good shape, as were the bunkers. The course is challenging but fair. I would recommend this course and a good value.

An enjoyable round at a well maintained course. Greens were challenging but rolled very nicely. Bunkers with soft sand lead to some fried eggs. The layout was good, you get a little bit of everything. Value was good and staff friendly.
Whether it is a top 20, I will leave that for others to debate. I would definitely play this course again.

One of those funky old style of courses built in the '80's. Short holes with sharp doglegs, back nine narrow and tree lined. Not to say it wasn't challenging,. Teeing areas poor but greens were nice. Course must not have the maintenance budget it would like but they are trying..

Second time playing this course due to a great price from golfnow. The course plays long from the blues but is fair. Greens in pretty good shape but the bunkers need a lot of attention. Mostly gravel rocky sand and some had not been worked on in awhile. Overall an enjoyable round at a great price.

The course lay out, and beautiful rural setting made the round well worth it. The challenge to the grounds crew are the greens, which were in bad condition. If they are able to improve the conditions on and around the greens this course would be outstanding.

Played the original course West/North. They have added nine holes and an executive course. There practice facilities look very good.
Not overly long but you must put your ball in the correct part of the fairway to have a good look at the green. Some sharp dog legs. Par threes are a challenge and most greens are domed. Greens recently plugged but healing fast. Beautiful rural area, well worth the trip and a good value,

I got a great rate on golfnow mid week so drove down from Portland to play this course. A residential course well maintained with smooth greens. Most holes demand a well positioned tee shot for approach to the greens. A number of elevated two tiered greens made the course a challenge as it is not overly long. Not much scenery as it winds through residential homes and tees are far apart. Paired up with some good locals and had a fun day.

Took the long drive from the Eastside to play this course. Had to wait out a down pour but it cleared and the greens drained quickly. Played as single and finished in 3hr. Understandably, the course was soft but the greens were putting nicely. An enjoyable round of golf and a great value off of golfnow.

Stone Creek is looking good for this time of the season. After just two weeks from having the greens punched they are coming back quickly. Still have about two weeks till they roll smoothly. Bunkers held some water pools. Had a great weather day and, as a single, played with some nice guys. Staff as always friendly and professional.

It saddens me to give a poor review to one of my favorite courses. I've played this course for over two decades and it's in the worst shape ever. Fairways were baked out and greens were pock marked with areas of disease, different sand(textures) in bunkers.
New management company comes in raises fees and spends little money on maintenance. This course has never had a decent clubhouse facility(promised for years) so food and beverage quality is unknown.
Just disappointing.

Course conditions are very good right now. Greens are putting fast but not super fast, and smooth. Bunkers ( I was in more than a few) had good sand.
Overall this course gives me a fair challenge, fun to play. Good practice areas, and good food.

Have been playing this course for years. A short front nine and more challenging back nine. The only defense for the course has been the conditions of the greens and as of this date they need attention. Same with the bunkers, can you please put some sand in them, spend some money on course maintenance and this will be fun to play again.

As the course drys out conditions should improve. Greens are in good condition, rolling well. The rough is very heavy, hopefully they will begin to mow soon.
Very good city course with some difficult holes. The 16th,17th,18th holes still one of the most challenging closing holes around. Will play the course often this season. Easy course to walk, very enjoyable day of golf.

I've been playing this course for 30 years, just a classic urban design by NW legend Chandler Egan. Easy to walk. You have to position your shots around this tree lined track.
Greens were top dressed so speed of putts was hard to judge. Course is still soft, so play the appropriate tees for your ability. Just a nice time on a good weather day.

I try and play Elkhorn Valley GC whenever I can drive down from Portland. A great course that, sad to say, has not yet overcome financial instability. The weather was great for this time of year and the course conditions, given all the recent rain, were very good. The greens were soft but rolled true, just hard
to get the speed. You have no excuse not to drive up to one of the most scenic courses in the mid valley at golf now prices. The value and golf experience are/were outstanding.
