My family has been playing this course for decades and have always enjoyed the challenge this course provides. Stanley Thompson courses always require skill and this is no exception. Conditions can vary based on weather but the owners do their best. This is a public course, so you can’t expect the same conditions as a private or high end (expensive!) course.
The owners are very friendly and work to accommodate our tee time needs.

Played from the whites which seemed short. Lots of trouble between water and woods. Errant drives are really punished. Lost a lot of balls. Not recommended for high handicappers like me (26)

We played as two couples and were behind 4 men who were so slow we were held up on every hole. They really need a marshall!! This group should have been made to skip some holes. We played in 5 hours 15 mins. Four and a half would have been acceptable.
