The "Ike" is a superb test for even the most skilled player. The course was in great shape.

The Ike was it's regular brutal self. 6800 yards from the blue tees is an awesome test. You feel like you're playing a true big boy course when you play there. Make sure the long irons and woods are on point if you want to survive. Looking forward to coming back.

I like this course but I really think it needs to improve the playing conditions. Way too many craggy spots. The conditions of the bunkers are terrible. Hardly any sand at the bottom of the traps. Felt like I was hitting off of a dirt road. It won't take much to get the course back to where it should be, it's just not nearly there right now. This course has so much potential if the ownership and management are committed to a higher standard.

Got paired with a couple of guys who would rather get drunk than play golf. Ruined the round.

Course is in great shape. Greens are perfection right now (4/25). Had the first time out as a single and finished in under 3 hours. Can't ask for better than that! Wish this course was closer to where I live.

Have always loved this place. Great character and setting. No overly challenging, but a decent test. Great location in the heart of LA that you wouldn't even know was there. I bring friends here that are avid golfers who live in LA that never knew the place existed. Nice little gem to spend a couple hours swinging the sticks. Great value for the money!

Go ahead and skip the overpriced Ojai Valley Inn and drive a little farther down the road to Soule Park. If you want a better value, friendlier staff and better course conditions in Ojai, Soule Park is the place. Not overly challenging off the tee, but the adventure begins when you reach the large undulating greens. This place has a "locals" feel to it in a good way. Thumbs up!

This course is really the tale of two halves. Really enjoyed the front 9. It was challenging yet fair and in good condition. The back 9 was another story. This 9 is really quirky and borderline unfair. The design does not fit into the landscape very well. Seems like the course was force into an area that was too small to fit 9 holes naturally. Does not reward you for a well struck drive and when you do reach the fairway you are met with strange lies and awkward angles into the green. The disliked the back 9 so much, I doubt I will ever travel down from LA again to play this course. Lots of other better options in the SD area than this place. Staff and service was top notch though.

Can't say enough about this course. Great layout and condition. Really nice to come out to Oxnard when it's 100 degrees in the Valley and it's a perfect 78 at Olivas. Nice practice facility as well. It would be nice if they went ahead and built a real clubhouse though and the starter there is a huge jerk and really tries hard to ruin your day.

Today was a bonus because my Golfnow rewards paid for the round, so that was great. Weather was perfect and the course was pretty empty so I flew through my round. Also great! The not so great was the greens on the front nine. They were in terrible condition and clearly have not been taken care of during the shutdown. I would have pretty upset if I had to pay for this round because Ojai is not cheap.

Couldn't have ask for more. Great value through GN.
