Friendly Staff

The course was in pretty good condition, but some of the fairways had bare spots. The greens were good and the pace of play was good. The staff is very friendly. Overall had a good time.

Fun course

The course is in good shape, especially for the price. The staff is friendly and laid back. The greens rolled great with enough undulating to keep it challenging. Good time.

Nice and long

The course was in good condition from the fairways to the greens and the pace of play was excellent. I was paired up with another player and we finished in 3 hours. A suggestion would be that once we get out of this drought to add some lakes to the course. The only negative was Ryan in the pro shop. He lectured me about why I could not get a cart until close to my tee time because they didn't want me to try to tee off earlier than my tee time. This was odd because I did not ask for an explanation and nor was I interested in hearing one and I wasn't interested in teeing off early because I wanted to warm up. Also, the course was wide open, so it was nonsense anyways. It made no difference what time I teed off that day because there was no one there. He did say however that if i would buy some range balls then he would honor me with a cart early. I told him yippee, but he didn't seem to understand that I was being sarcastic. That being said I enjoyed playing the course and will be back again. Ryan, loosen up! There are times to be a stickler and times not to be. You just haven't learned the difference yet.

Mature Course

Lots of mature trees and bunkers. The trees and bunkers add some needed thought to each shot. Rather it's a bunker with a high lip or a tree in the middle of the fairway or in front of the green. If you are out of position it is difficult to score well. Conditions are average, but good enough for the price. If you enjoy an old school course, give this one a try.

Started a tournament during my tee time

Poor Management! The pro shop informed me as I was checking in for my twighlight round that they were starting a tournament durine my tee time and that I would need to wait an additional 45 minutes to start and then follow this tournament. He lied and said it was a match play tournament, so players would soon be dropping off, but that never happened. I asked him why Golf Now would book me when my tee time was unavailable? He said because the course didn't tell them. Very shady. I like playing the course, but it's poorly ran. Too bad

Great Course! A Must Play!

This is a must play course. They had just reopened after being closed for a month to overseed and the conditions were excellent. They also did not require paths only like most of the other clubs do when overseeding, which was a huge bonus. The course is scenic, in excellent condition, challenging, and long enough to keep it challenging at all levels. I would also like to commend the Starter for going out of his way and coming to the driving range to see if I wanted to go out early with the hopes of still being able to finish (twighlight tee time). Good thing he did me that favor even though I didn't ask for it because it was getting dark by the time I finished and the 30 minutes that he let me get out early worked out perfectly. I look forward to playing it again the next time I am in the area and would highly recommend it to a friend.

6 Hour Round

Way oversold! They had a couple of tournaments that morning, but did not adjust their available tee times to accommodate for that. So all of the tee times got crammed together. Another problem was that there were 5 somes in many groups, which should never be allowed in my opinion, and only pairs in others. So the pace of play came to a halt. The gentleman that I was paired up with and myself ended up leaving after the eleventh hole because we couldn't take it anymore. By the time we teed off on each hole it was like the first tee all over again. When we explained our concerns to the staff member in the pro shop about the issues that we had, he said "you booked it on Golf Now, so too bad, nothing we will do for you". It's too bad the course is so poorly managed because it is a good course, but when the management stacks so many tee times together because they don't care and they just want your money, the course becomes irrelevant.
