This course is is a challenge but it is playable

The fairways are wide enough to keep your ball in play most of the time

There is just enough water and hazards to keep you from getting board

As a senior, I played from the red tees and that was long enough for my game

The greens were fast and unforgiving if you hit it too hard on a down hill putt

You had to keep your head in the game if you were going to score well

If you like the challenge of avoiding the water, then this course is for you

There is water on almost every hole at some point

You have to use a lot of course management to avoid putting the ball in the water

The fairways are wide and well groomed

The greens are fast and unforgiving so don't hit your putts too hard

I was not able to play most of the holes due to my arthritis

To much distance from the cart path to the green and to many elevation changes around the greens

Being cold and windy, my arthritis really limited my mobility

This is my 2nd time playing this course

The only knock on this great course is a very few patches of crab grass and a few bold spots on the greens

The staff are great and made suggestions on how to play this course

My score was 3 strokes better than my 1st round

In the future, this is the only course that I am going to play when I am in the Daytona Beach area

The tee boxes were all dug up,with divots. full of crab grass and bare in spots

The fairways were full of crab grass and bare spots

The bunkers had not been raked in a long time, they were hard as a rock and had crab grass growing in them

The greens were pretty much bald with some crab grass in them

The pace of play was painfully slow ( 4 3/4 hrs to play a round as a single )

The local golfers were not very friendly. I let a two sum and a single play thru and nobody asked me to join them ( as a golfer that plays in the high eights to low nineties, I am not holding anybody up )

The track it's self was great, it just needs some maintenance

The fairways were filled in and nicely groomed

The bunkers were groomed and did not have any crab grass in them

Some of the greens had a few bare spots but generally the greens were in good shape and free of crab grass

The greens were a little slow but the ball rolled fairly true on most of them

With water on both sides of most fairways, you had to hit the ball down the middle to avoid the penalties

This is a very picturesque course that you need to play if you are in the Daytona Beach area

To get to the front n9, you had to drive the cart about 1/4 mile down a side road
The hole markers were so bad that you could not read them which made it difficult to stay on course
Some of the holes had 6 ft high pond reeds 25 ft in front of the tee box so you could not see the fairway let alone the green
The 8th hole had a big palm tree directly in front of the tee box out about 25 ft.. If you hit this tree with your tee shot, the ball was going to come straight back at you This one was scary to keep your head down and swing
The back 9 was full of pot hole depressions all over the fairways. My back was sore from being jarred in the cart and I lost 12 balls because they would hit a depression in the fairway and bounce wildly some where
The bottom line is be careful if you play this course.
You are going to get very frustrated and feel like you just went 10 rounds with Mike Tyson

The greens are full of crab grass, bare spots and overgrowth. They have not been cut in a long time and have not been rolled in forever.

I ended up putting the ball with speed at the hole and if it went in that was great but if it missed I picked it up, counted 2 and moved on

All that being said, the rest of the course was in good shape and a challenge to play

This used to be a great course and will be again when they fix the greens

Putting here is an experience !

Lots of movement to every putt

You can putt yourself right off of the green if you are not careful

The greens are really large but a real challenge

The greens were running at 11 to 12 on the stint meter

They were very hard and therefore very difficult to hold

Playing short and rolling the ball on didn't work as the ball got caught up in the fringe around the green

You were always short and having to chip on and then 2 or 3 putt for bogie or double bogie

The rest of the course was great and well worth the money

Putting was a challenge
The greens were fast and many missed putts rolled right off of the green
There were many breaks that were hard to read which resulted in frustrating misses
Many of the greens had false fronts and doomed backs which resulted in balls rolling off the green after hitting it on the fly
The fairways were extremely hard and difficult to get under the ball
Don';t let the yardage and the par rating fool you, this course is tougher than it looks

Although the course was not immaculate, it was great for the money and difficult enough to keep this old guy interested

It's only a 9 hole course but the 9 hole par is 37 so there are no free holes

With 4 sets of tee boxes you can change the look of the course on the 2nd 9

The ball does not travel as far as you think so trust your Garmin and club up

The greens are a little on the slow side, so putt with some pace

Some holes have extreme elevation changes

Par 3's that are all carry over water

Elevated fairways over wet lands

Undulating greens that will really make you choose your line correctly

3 very different 9 hole courses to choose from

2 have very extreme elevation changes and the 3rd has lots of water as well

You need good course management to get around here

This course is located inside a gated community.
It is in great shape and has many elevation changes
Do to the many tee boxes, you can make this course as difficult or easy as you want to fit your handicap
The greens were very fast so down hill putts were a big challenge
A beautiful course with lots of scenery
Play with lots of course management if you want to score well

As a Canadian that had not played since last October, this course was a good warm up to start the year.
Not a lot of elevation changes but enough traps and length to keep it interesting.
The greens were fast and had a far about of undulation in them.
The course was not perfect but was in good shape for a municipal run course.
A special note that the resident coyote was waiting for us in the middle of the 15th fairway. He did not bother us but just let us know that this was his territory

A great beginners course with enough challenge for the intermediate golfer
No sand traps
Fairways were good
Greens were a little long
Overall a great day for the price

I played the course from the white tees ( 4999 Yd ) and found that the elevation changes and fast greens provided an interesting challenge to a great day in November in Ontario
