Pukalani Country Club
Played On 09/11/2019Very dated Golf Facility and Course
Golf on Maui is extremely expensive, from $180.00 to $300 per round. We decided to drive to the Pukalani Golf Course, as our green fees with cart were under $50 with cart. It is quite a drive from Wailea, where we were staying, around 45 minutes. The Clubhouse is very old, could use a great deal of refurbishment. We ordered food from the restaurant, and it was good. Restaurant is more like a fast food place where you order, pay, and sit. Clean, but dated. Golf carts are gas powered. Fairways were very dry. Weeds were overgrown in some spots. A few holes were very confusing, the cart path ended and we drove on dirt. On one of the holes on the back nine, we accidentally hit onto the wrong green, as there were two different “green” choices, high or low. The phrase “ you get what you pay for” can certainly apply to this course. Affordable, playable, not difficult at all. If you don’t mind the drive-it’s worth what you pay.
