About what you’d expect from this course. They keep it in great shape. Tee boxes were great, fairways were great. Rough wasn’t to high. Greens were areated but that’s part of the deal this time of the year. Wish they’d indicate that on Golf Now like other courses though. The carts can use an upgrade they are in their last legs we literally had to push one to get it going. Range is never open so expect that if you haven’t been there before. Staff is always friendly and the hot dogs are legit.

Place is awesome. I went it was real windy but the layout and just everything is great. Highly recommend.

Course even in the winter is in great shape. Tough small greens and fairways are in great shape. Wish they cut those trees on 16 down to give you a chance at 2…

Fairways were is great shape. Tee boxes a little long. Greens could be rolled. Lotta short par 4s but layout is challenging and fun. Staff is really one of the friendliest around.

I played East, the one open to the public. Greens were good. One sand trap under construction on 5 I think. Couple of short 4s from the green markers. Back was not as well maintained as the front. I’d go again. Good course.

I played here years ago and I remembered an island green and great holes. While the layout was good I can’t say enough how poorly the course is maintained. I chipped from about 30 yards away to a green and my ball disappeared down a hole ON THE GREEN, literally disappeared down a hole. NOTHING was kept up. Weeds in the bunkers, dirt in the tee boxes. Fairways blended into the rough and the greens were maybe the worst I’ve ever played. Such a disaster. Not worth the aggravation of actually trying to play on a course this poorly maintained. Golf now should dis associate themselves with this course. It’s embarrassing..

Is more like spring golf. Fairways were in good shape. Tee boxes were manageable. Greens for this time of the year were good. Staff is always great. No complaints

Is a wet muddy mess. The fairways are filled with grass patches amongst the puddles and the mud. The tee boxes are dirt and clumps of grass. The greens are in good shape. The layout is actually good shame the course isn’t maintained better. Doesn’t matter if it’s winter or not the course just doesn’t drain especially in the back.

Staff was very friendly. Course was in good shape. Pace of play was very slow. Thunderstorms stopped play after 5 holes..

LCC is a good challenging course with tough greens. It’s in good shape. Staff is friendly.

Can’t complain about the course this time of year. Staff is great. People are nice. Course layout is good.

To Ocean County’s “other” course. Greens were sanded but it’s January in Jersey. They still rolled pretty well. The fairways were in good shape. The layout on this course is the real deal. It makes you make shots. Lotta water that is constantly in play. Very challenging. I’ve heard nightmares about the bugs but in January that’s not an issue!! My only negative was having to cross 4 lane traffic jn addition to the other 3 times you’re crossing local traffic.

The front is back and forth back is a little more interesting. Similar in that respect to Hanover which is around the corner and cheaper. Greens are challenging and there’s some water to deal with, third hole, where it’s easy to reach on a good shot. Not much staff there this time of year but the ones I encountered were friendly. All the tees were way up which turns 5’s into a 4 so that’s a little frustrating. Overall good value and its in good shape but I like to play it when it’s set up the way it’s meant to be…

LCC is kept in good shape. The greens are tough, the tee boxes are mostly in good shape and the fairways are grass filled not mud or dirt like some other courses this time of year. Pace of play is an issue since it’s open when others are not and the staff while very friendly and helpful don’t move people along.

Who aerates in November? New ownership trying to turn it. Staff talked up the investment that’ are being made. Greens are challenging and well maintained. Fairways in good shape too as are tee boxes. Biggest drawback in there very little grass around the fairways. For the price point the competition In the area is going to make it tough on them. I will try next year it’s in good to great shape.

At Eagle Ridge. Course is beautiful. Very well kept and challenging. Couldn’t say enough good things. Bunkers, fairways, tee boxes and greens all immaculate. It’s a must play. Kevin the starter was friendly and kept everyone organized.

Layout was good. Couple of very challenging holes. It’s winter so you have to expect dirt tee boxes and conditions beyond the staffs control. I can see where it would be very muddy if it wasn’t frozen. I’d come back but not after a rain..

Cart had a golf ball hole in the windshield. That tells you how the course is maintained. They cut a tree down and dropped it in the green so that was a mess. Tee boxes were dirt. I played with a couple of regulars that said the top dressed the greens a month ago. There was no grass on the greens still covered in sand. Layout is what it is and for a par 60 I thought that it was nice. Other golfers on the fairways because it is tight but everyone was nice. Cart paths were a mess. For $20 in the winter you get what you pay for I guess...

January golf in Jersey is a rarity. Course was in good shape for this time of year. Staff super friendly. Only a couple back and forth holes. Tight layout at times but it’s an older course so to be expected. Will be back in warmer weather.
