Following a board meeting in the morning, I was trying to beat the dark and get 18 in on a beautiful November day in Dallas. I was able to secure a Hot Deal on GolfNow at Bear Creek. The course is a great layout and was in great condition for November even though the greens were quite slow. Pace of play was great even though there were a lot of golfers. We were able to play in just under 4 hours and beat the dark. The extra bonus of seeing a number of jets taking off from DFW is always an added bonus at Bear Creek.

Las Sendas was recommended to me prior to heading to Arizona from Ohio and it didn’t disappoint. The layout is fantastic, the scenery/views were inspiring and the 70 degree weather perfect. The greens were quick but they held a well struck shot. The fairways were in great condition. Since it was my first time playing Las Sendas, I was fortunate to play with a member, Hero. Hero patiently gave me tips on each hole where to hit the ball. Hero was a great host. Just a great round of desert golf, can’t wait to play there again.

Needing to find a half way stop on our way home from North Myrtle Beach to break up the trip for our 11 month old granddaughter, we found an Airbnb in Traphill, NC. I was excited to find Olde Beau on the Golfnow app, and when I played the course, I was not disappointed!!

The views are magnificent, particularly the approach to 15. The course was challenging, even more so with the previous night’s storms drenching the course. The greens were smooth and fast, the bunkers were very playable even with the rain.

The staff was extremely hospitable and the complimentary course yardage book was a life saver.

All in all, a great place to find and hopefully a course I will play again. Also very close to Stone Mountain State Park, a beautiful place to hike with majestic falls!

Had a really enjoyable round at Sandpiper Bay, playing Sand and then Piper. Course was in good shape even though it had taken in quite a bit of water recently. I was matched up with a husband and wife from Virginia and we had a great time. Course was fair and the greens were consistent though a little on the slow side.

Staff was very friendly and made sure everything was moving even though there was several large groups playing that morning. Would definitely recommend playing Sandpiper Bay if you are in the Sunset Beach/North Myrtle Beach area.

This was my third time playing the course and was very impressed with the greens and the layout. Playing different tees and different pin placements made it quite challenging. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, just a great experience

First time this year playing Chippewa, love this course. From the back tees, several challenging holes, yet also some opportunities for birdies. Greens were quick but fair. Pro shop staff was extremely helpful and on-course personnel very friendly, as I played early in the morning.

I got the chance to play both the East and West courses at Bear Creek and was impressed with both courses. The course was fair but also challenging if you got out of position. The staff was extremely friendly and the cheeseburger between 18's was fantastic. The bermuda greens were quick, even for someone used to bent grass.
