Ambassador Golf Club
Played On 10/16/2014Hiding in plain sight.
A great golf course with many challenging holes, hidden among industrial lands and suburbia. Impeccably groomed, links type course. Very few trees but watch out for the mounds and fescue grass that are always lurking, waiting for an errant shot. Never seems to be overly busy and you'll likely need every club in your bag. Great fun and a treat to play. As nice or nicer than the local "Private" clubs.
Fieldstone Golf Club of Auburn Hills
Played On 08/10/2014Interesting Layout
With the exception of about 4 greens, which were a little rough, this is a fun course to play. Several of the holes require thoughtful shot making, but it is wide open enough to accommodate players of all skill levels. I played with my wife and another couple and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed the layout. Of course we got a deal online and only paid $25.00 each. The one drawback is the pace of play. Waiting for most every shot on the back nine, led to a slightly more than 5 hour round.
Coyote Preserve Golf Club
Played On 05/19/2014Very fun course
A great day for golf Sunny and hi 70's. The course and area are beautiful albeit very challenging. Don't be afraid to club up as many of the greens and landing areas are "all carry". Pace of play was great and staff was friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for a better day. I expect that as the the season progresses, the course will become that much more terrific. I'll be back later this summer.
