Great first round at the revamped course. I played it many times before that but not since it reopened and it is much nicer. I had a great round on the course after first tee. But the starters here are just grouchy guys and I can’t understand why. This is a repeated thing here and it’s like you just have to grin and bear it - this is the third time this has happened with me here. I arrived to the starter as a solo 8 minutes before tee time and took a lecture from the two of them. I was at the tee before the first guy even teed off. We actually finished teeing off before our tee time. Great muni and I’ll def be back despite that

This course actually has 10 holes.. This is a great family owned course and it perfect to work on your irons. Most holes are 80-130 off the tee box. Oh yeah, there are no tee boxes. Only mats. But for 15-20 bucks, it's great to get a beginner accustomed to the game or an advanced golfer just to work on short stuff. There are a couple trickier holes, particularly holes 5 and especially 6.

Let me start out by saying, I played this on Labor Day so I did not get a deal on my tee time. In my personal opinion, this course is only worth about 40 bucks max, including cart. If you can get a hold of a hot deal for 10-20 bucks, this place is 100% worth playing. It's pretty well kept but there's no drink cart and no food there other than chips and snacks.

As far as how the course played - it was not very challenging outside of a couple dog legged holes. The greens were well kept but pretty easy for the most part and the fairways were kept in nice shape. However, the sand traps were hard as could be and soaking wet. There was a lot of dew that moring so it's hard to say if they're always like that. A lot of the par 3s were long and pretty challenging, some over 200 yards.

This place is nice for beginners and intermediates because there's just not many places to lose a ball. I played solo but there was a foursome in front of me that was playing absurdly slow - no rangers in sight. I know it's supposed to be a longer game with 4 people but there people were taking over 20 minutes a hole so i skipped one hole and played through.

This course is designed for families and beginners. The course isn't well maintained really with uneven tee boxes, beat up greens and no rangers. BUT.. This course is priced accordingly. I played for 10 bucks on a Sunday afternoon, you cannot find a cheaper 18 than that. I signed up as a single and played with two others and we got stuck behind a family with two young kids so our front 9 was painfully slow but that's what you get for 10 bucks. I would recommend this course for beginners, families and anyone looking to play a round for cheap. Bring your lunch because there's no food, just snacks. Anyone who rates this course poorly is silly, this course is an excellent value for what you get.

I'm a beginner golfer so I was looking for a course that's easy on the wallet and will not be overwhelmingly crowded or difficult for a guy who's just really starting to play. Cascades was perfect for me to work on all parts of my game (it all needs work) and was kept in wonderful condition. An intermediate golfer will also enjoy this course as well as it does contain some challenging features, such as changes in elevation and bunker placement. Overall, a very good value and worth playing.
