Coyote Willows Golf Club
Played On 10/27/2019A pleasant surprise
As a first time to play here it was a nice experience. A 9 hole course that you play twice. The layout is between houses with a couple of funky holes, but fun to play. The staff is very friendly. I was surprised on how well the greens rolled as the are faster then they look. They also rolled true. A nice place to play, reasonably priced and I will play again
Cathedral Canyon Golf Club
Played On 09/17/2016Such an improvement
I have been playing this course for more than 20 years and at times stopped playing due to terrible conditions under previous management, but let me tell you JC golf has brought this course back from the dead. It is 2 weeks until they close for over seed and it is in excellent condition. In fact better condition then previous years under other management during the season. Put this course on your I have to play while here in the Palm Springs area during the season.
Needs TLC
We played this course on a fair Sunday morning and it has been years since we played here. First impression was of an empty parking lot (10 am tee), no cart attendant, a friendly pro shop person, and a course that is in need of some TLC. The tee's, fairways, bunkers and greens need more maintenance. The course is set in a very beautiful hillside location, great views, good layout but sorely in disrepair. If it improves a must play but until then stay away.
Oak Valley Golf Club
Played On 01/02/2015A good choice
As we played this course on a Friday of a holiday weekend, it wasn't overly crowded, the tee times were managed very well and the course was in good condition.
If you want a course that isn't real long but demands good shots then this is the place to play. A good shot is rewarded and a bad shot is penalized. Greens are fast and true and well lets say don't short side yourself.
Book a time and play, it is worth it.
Indian Canyons Golf Resort - North Course
Played On 08/03/2014Enjoyable
Here in the Palm Springs area this is the best time of year for us locals to play, no crowds reduced prices and no delays while playing. Here at Indian Canyons North it is made even more enjoyable by the country club attention you are given from arrival until departure. It is a lost art that this course still has. As well as the great treatment the course can challenge all skill levels. Come on out and play it, you will be couning the days until your next round here.

Played On 07/05/2014A good course
Well I hadn't played this course in a number of years, but it is just as I remembered it. And that is it is a very good course. The only draw back is that only 9 holes are open due to construction on the back 9. But in all fairness to the course it is not their construction but that of the local water district. You will be challenged on this course, but you will still enjoy it as it will reward you for a good shot. Get out and play it.
Hesperia Golf & Country Club
Played On 8/25/2013A cozy course
As this is my second time to play this course I guess I must have enjoyed it, in fact I did. It is a cozy course situated in a canyon/valley setting. It is an older course in need of a small amount of attention. The tree lined fairways and bunkered greens make it a challenge to all levels of play and of course three sets of tees help to influence the challenge. I played the course both times with my son who is just starting out and he also enjoyed himself, in fact wants to still play the game. Pace of play is a bit slow but tolerable. Go and try this course you will like it
