The Good :
Coarse was challenging and in very good shape.
Bar and restaurant seemed pleasant
Staff was friendly
Price was fair.

The Bad :
Carts were old, run down and dirty.
Grounds were poorly maintained
Driving range was tiny and cramped

After getting yelled at by the starter for mistakenly driving my cart on the wrong path, things went downhill from there.
Fairways are bumpy, overgrown
Tee areas are shoddy
Many greens are aerated and sanded
Those greens that are in good shape vary greatly on speed
No beverage cart
Will not be returning

The good:
Fairways in great shape
Staff is helpful and friendly

The bad:
Greens are bumpy and a distraction
Cart charge of $20 per player is unreasonable
Virtually no amenities, not even water stations, no bathrooms on course and no beverage service.

The overriding message here is that the staff attitude is rude and disturbingly hostile. Otherwise, a decent city course with fast greens and some very challenging holes.

Greens, fairways, and rough all in great shape. Bunkers need a lot of work, but overall, thus course is in good condition

This course has been abandoned by the NYC Parks Department.

Pond in front of the first tee has the stench of a garbage dump - A health hazard to the employees and the players.
No portable toilets anywhere on the course
No drinking water
No ball washers
It’s clear that the NYC administration has any interest in golf.
This might be the worst course in New York.

This course, although playable, needs serious bunker work and greens being aerated really make fir an unpleasant experience. Also, absolutely nowhere to eat, snack or have a drink of any kind.

There is nothing that makes this course stand out, but it is not an unpleasant experience. A good place to play, but virtually no amenities.

This is a lovely course overall, but greens were in bad shape.
Bumpy, overgrown and way too many divots.

First impression was Run down facilities, filthy carts, and broken down buildings. BUT - Staff is very friendly, fairways, greens, and tee boxes are nicely done. Pace of play was fair.
If only the could clean and sanitize those carts and repair the storage buildings, this would be a gem with many fewer flaws.

9 hole course with first 6 holes not maintained in tears.
Tee boxes overgrown, greens are abysmal, carts are filthy, cart paths are like a third world country
Clubhouse is old and depressing and the person who mans it is rude

I’ve played this course for three years.
It’s in the best shape I’ve seen
Pace is a bit slow, but nothing to fret about. Greens are challenging and in good condition.
