Brookdale Golf Club
Played On 07/31/2018Summer time golf.
The course is in good shape, considering the heat and minimal maintenance.
Brookdale Golf Club
Played On 07/09/2018Golf Now disadvantages
I am a VIP Golf Now member, and happy with it, but as a result of my Golf Now available tee times are bunched together so that all Golf Now users are slotted for noon to 1 p.m. As a result the course is crowded during these times.
Brookdale Golf Club
Played On 06/18/2018Some challenges, worth the visit
The course is, for the most part, wide-open. The greens are in good shape. The back nine is challenging and makes the whole course worth the trip.
PGA WEST Greg Norman Course
Played On 12/09/2017Target Golf similar to Arizona
While the course was in pristine condition, it was Target Golf and I forgot (right) to adjust my game.
The fairways are narrow and difficult to hit with consistency and the rough areas are ball eaters.
We were looking for balls on almost every hole.
In addition they allowed golf carts on paths or in the rough areas only!! It made for a very long day if you or your partner did not hit in the same area.
I felt like it took 5 hours to play 18, but it didn’t (we were on schedule). Concentration was next to impossible.
I would not recommend this course to anyone who isn’t comfortable with target golf.
PGA WEST Pete Dye Mountain Course
Played On 12/04/2017Beautiful scenery and clubhouse
This course is one of two at the site, they told me this was the easiest. In my case that is not relevant but it was great none the less.
I recommend this for visitors as one of the top five non-resort courses in the Valley
Lipoma Firs Golf Course
Played On 09/26/2017Take advantage while you can.
Unfortunately, this course has been sold and will close at an undisclosed time.
I have enjoyed the experience every time I played it. The restaurant is outstanding, and a truly great value. The 18 holes that are left are challenging.
Play it while you can!!
Lipoma Firs Golf Course
Played On 07/06/2017Worth the time, and a great breakfast
I have played this course many times. Obviously, I am disappointed to hear that it has been sold to a developer. In the meantime I intend to play it as often as possible. The loss of the first nine hurt the pace of play, but I play early so it hasn't been too bad so far.
If your in the area it's worth a play, and the restaurant is very special (especially the breakfast).
