Hole In One

I got a Hole In One at hole #6 today, so what can I say other than, This is the greatest course I have ever played at!!!!
They have put allot of money into this course and take great care of the course conditions. Price is reasonable and layout is challenging in a good way.

No safety concerns for players with Covid-19 spreading

There’s no sense in reviewing the course because the course management does not care about players health and safety. I arrived in late afternoon. There were less than a dozen cars in the parking lot. I paid the full amount which included a cart. While I checked in, I could see that no one else was on the schedule for the next 2.5 hours.
Before checking in, I observed the “cart guy” hosing carts off, doing a quick wipe down of the steering wheel and put the cart back in line to be used by the next person. After checking in and having already paid my fee that included a cart fee which I was happy to pay, I requested permission to use my own push cart instead of a virus carrying cart. I was first given permission, on “the turn” I was approached by a very rude “cart person” with an attitude. He started to lecture me about a rule of “no walking”
I tried to explain that the pro shop told me I could walk , but all he did was interrupt and tell me they have a rule.
I spent the next 30 minutes walking back to get a cart, walking to my car to get my own disinfectant wipes and clean the cart and key. I then returned to the parking lot again to put my cart in the car, walked back to the cart I just disinfected myself and then drove up to the ball I had already hit from the 10th tee. All this took 30-40 minutes and still no one play past my ball and still no sight of any other players behind me on the 9th green.
The point is. This course refuses to comply with CDC guidelines during this pandemic time and forces you to follow their 30 year old rule even if you try to play safe.
The golf community is lucky that Florida has not forced us out of this sport as the have with many other recreational activities, but that will come to an end when someone gets sick after playing at a course like Huntington Hills.
Most courses have made temporary adjustments and rule changes until we get past this pandemic period. This place still forces two people in a cart when they have less than twelve people on the course.
If you don’t care about getting sick, stop by this course. They don’t care about you or your safety.

Enjoy !!!

apolgies to you for a bad experience. We have begun issuing 1 cart to 1 player and also are complying with all cdc guidelines. sanitizing carts, no pencils or rakes. Noodles are attached to flag poles with a no touch pole rule. we sanitize doors, counters, and anything that is touched repeatedly by customers and employees.

Course issues

It was annoying to see three maintenance people aerating the first green and even when I was 100 YDS out, they made no attempt to move aside or acknowledge my approach so I could hit up onto the green. After that, four of the next six holes had not been moved to days or weeks as they had so much long grass growing in and over the cup, the hole was much less than 4.25".
Its a great course but a few holes needed work.

Great course

Great course that is in great condition. Very friendly and helpful pro shop. No cold drinking water on the course so you need to bring plenty of your own. only place to purchase drinks is at the club house on the turn.
Over-all, great course and am looking forward to returning.
