The course layout is fine, though I don’t care for the patches of desert that cross the fairway and force you to lay up on a few holes. The fairways were in fine shape, while the greens had dozens of pitch marks not fixed by golfers from previous rounds and/or maintenance crew. This made the greens very bumpy and encourages golfers not to fix their own pitch mark.
When going to the driving range, you are at risk of being hit by golf balls from golfers at the range. There must be more than a thousand golf balls along the way, off the range, mostly in the desert. Is anyone picking up these balls once in a while? Looks unkept.
At the end of the round, there was no one to clean our clubs and to bring them to the curb.
Overall, it was an average golf experience, not typical of troon courses.

Good day overall. Only issue was pace of play, due possibly to course allowing fivesomes to tee off (the group in front of us was one)
