Hidden gem

Place was in amazing shape. Its tight course, fair, fun but still challenging. Textbook “greens roll true”.
Fyi, dont always trust your gps here though, Theres a couple shared greens that read as one…flush 9 iron and I think its gonna be dead nuts on the pin…had an 80’ putt coming back…

Best 9 hole course around, not even close

Real fun course. Narrow but not ridiculous. Id rather play an 18 hole course, but this is really the only 9 hole course that I wanted to play another 9 after. Its challenging, fun and in decent shape. And the varying tee boxes would make another go around very different 9 holes. Im honestly mad ive never played here before.

Great track, well worth the money

Great course and walkable. Best range and practice area across the street within 20 miles. Course is fun, open, but still challenging. A change in some pin locations can easily swing your score 10 strokes. Ive probably played 50 different courses in my “career”, these greens are easily top 5 fastest. If the hole is long, theres opportunity to score. If the hole is short, theres enough risk that makes up for it between hazards, green tiers, etc. Youre going to have fun playing here.

My only gripe is tee boxes. They’re not bad or beat up, but they’re not all flat. Its a public course, and I fully admit that it gets in my head more than most golfers. If you and your group are cool with teeing up around the box, you’ll be fine.

Being so close to 93, and rte 28, theres more than enough please to go after as well.

Great value

Great value for the money. Staff is awesome, cool layout, some frustrating long par 3’s, great combo of fun and challenging. Management has done a great turn around last couple years. The course can get wet, but the drainage has drastically improved, job well done.

Suggestion, get rid of the parking lot practice green. The other one is perfect and the parking lot one is like walking on a 12 pitch roof.

Wish we played here before

Considering opening day, place was in great shape. Whoever takes care of the greens deserves a raise, cant believe how true they rolled. Staff was incredible and helped us out when GolfNow kinda botched the booking. Practice area and pub werent open yet, but only because it just opened for the season. Not complaining, just cant comment on it. Staff suggested Grumpys pub a mile down the road and it did not disappoint. Seriously, the greens are amazing. Tough, couple two tiered, but they were in amazing shape. I swear they covered them with tarps or something end of the season.

Only suggestions I would have is the green to tee directions and yardage. Some would chalk up to never playing there before, but the tee box yardage could be better. I would highly suggest grabbing the yardage book at pro shop. My group normally uses 18birdies app for distances and scores, but it didn’t line up with course. For instance, hole 1 on course was actually hole 2 on app, and tee boxes didnt line up from real course to app layout. Not complaining, but something worth mentioning. Place really was in great shape. If youve never played there before, some holes might be tough to navigate hence the yardage book. I absolutely smoked a 300 yard drive slight right of the fairway on the back 9 (cant remember the hole) however I didnt know there was trees/rocks/hazard. Again, not complaining, just worth knowing.

Overall I would 100% play there again, and my buddy actually got his first ace on shared green on first par 3. Breakfast Nook enroute was also a great start to the day, highly recommended.

Great except...

Still waiting to see tee boxes fixed. Theres a crown or tilt on every hole. You need to play your tee shot with the mentality that the ball is above or below you every tee box. Wouldnt prevent me from going there again, but thats whats needed to really make it perfect

well worth it

We got warning they aerated the greens, which definitely stole some birdie putts, but it's ok. This course is challenging but fun. There's no cookie cutter holes, each is different and has it's own challenges. Very unique

I've played here about a dozen times, I love playing there and the deals you just cant beat. The ONLY problem here is the tee boxes. No matter what time of season I play, they are awful. That being said, i'd still keep playing there
