Lost three balls that were within 30 feet of the green, because the grass was so high. Looked like it hadn’t been mowed in two weeks!

Course was in great shape. Employees are terrific. We had a threesome, and played the front in 1:15. Beautiful day, great weather. Then we made the turn, and got behind the slowest foursome I have ever seen. Several opportunities to let us play through were ignored. There were at least 2 (maybe more) holes open in front of this group. Years ago, at Ventura, there was a ranger riding the course, to avoid one group to hold up many groups behind them. Maybe they could consider having a ranger ride the course once in a while to fix this problem. The back nine took one hour longer than the front, because of this one group!

It’s nice to play a course with clean white sand, instead of dirt. Traps have been reworked to perfection!

The course was loade with golfers. I don’t know what others feel about pace if play, but I don’t think 4.5 hours is good.

Hello my name is Matthew and I am the proshop supervisor at Eagle Creek Golf Club. We appreciate your review. Our typical pace of play is four and a half hours. That is what we strive for with every tee time that comes through. We do work to try and create the best playing experience possible but logically speaking if you consider about 15 minutes per hole and 18 holes that comes out to four and a half hours. Once again we thank you for your review and hope to have you play our course again soon.

The course is beautiful, but since we played the Hill course, because the Lake course was closed for aeration, it was painfully slow. I think 4:45 for 18 holes is sad!!
