San Carlos Golf Club
Played On 07/14/2022Nice people and decent course
I played San Carlos twice while on vacation in Fort Myers. It is a forgiving course with some interesting holes and not a lot of trouble, like some Florida courses. The greens had been punched, but that is expected this time of year and there was a notice about it on Golf Now. Staff were all very friendly, but they need a marshal on the course. I played as a twosome. We got stuck behind a very slow foursome who would not let us through until we asked on the turn. They were 2 plus holes behind the group ahead of them.
Overall I would recommend playing here.
Dub's Dread Golf Club

Considering all of the recent rain, the course was in really good shape. Dub’s is one if my favorite courses in KC area.
Tiffany Greens Golf Club
Played On 06/02/2021Rough shape due to excessive rain.
Fairways and rough could not be cut due to excessive rain. So not faulting course management. But it just made for a long, frustrating round looking for balls in the rough that normally would be easily findable.

Eighteen Hole at Holiday Island Country Club

The course has a nice layout and some great views of the Ozarks, but tees are in bad shape and there is not much definition between fairways and rough. Greens were good, most are elevated. But areas leading to greens are not good. If some money was put into it, it could be a really nice course.
Falcon Lakes Golf Course
Played On 08/05/2020Great course, clubhouse management issue
I love this course, it is always in great shape. A couple frustrations though yesterday; when we checked in, the Clubhouse did not tell us they were starting on 10. Then when we made the turn to 1, a different foursome jumped in front of us. Clubhouse said that they were playing in a league later so we’re just getting in a few holes. A few holes turned out to be 6 and jammed up the course.
Indian Bayou Golf Club

Prairie Highlands has been one of my favorite courses, but I was disappointed with the course conditions. Fairways did not appear watered and weeds in traps. Courses should be in peak condition this time of year.
Gulf Shores Golf Club

I really enjoyed this course. Nice layout with a lot of water and bunkers that add interest and variety. Also a nice staff and well maintained. Only negative was a five some was the first group off, so pace was slow. But I would definitely play again.
